I’m not really subscribing to it, but that’s the theory. Our Rick (Rickest Rick) has gone through several Mortys, and even the first Earth you saw him on isn’t his first.
I’d like to believe that the Mortyest Morty and Rickest Rick were purposely separated by the council of Ricks believing that allowing them to stay together can spell doom for their citadel and what the Ricks have established.
rickiest rick wouldnt let a group of ricks force him to do shit. his personality doesnt allow for anyone to make him do anything he doesnt wanna do. Now him admitting morty’s can potentially be dangerous is interesting to me. Though i dont subscibe that its evil morty but potentially we had another like him or even an older morty through some time travel shit. He def knows something.
Well that in of itself poses an interesting question. How do they determine what Ricks/Mortys could be ones to take caution on? Are Ricks aware of their risk levels/potential?
we’d have to assume yeah based on the goverment in that universe’s reaction to the rickiest rick as well as a whole fuckin city of ricks with rules. The city of ricks have all these checks and balances, i imagine they’ve seen what could go wrong if let loose…but potentially…what if…
the city of ricks was created to purely keep down the mortys. What if the mortiest morty went batshit and so they literally subjugated all the mortys they could to prevent this from happening again. Rickiest rick would most likely never be about that, or potentially had to kill his mortiest morty…the result created the city.
Rick was gone for 20 years remember so how would he have a memory of Morty when he had never seen him. That is also why Rick goes all crazy about all the adventures he’s gonna go with Morty on the first episode of the series because he did it with his past Morty
That picture is the reason behind my theory but then again based on how much dimension/world hopping the series portrays, who is to say this isn’t just another run of the mill Morty. It could be something…or nothing.
everything is a red herring in this show. also did you mean granted? lmfao.
its interesting…everything this season seems to be pushing morty into getting sick of ricks shit. to the point he physically tried to fight him. Like is this how a confident morty is created? they just get sick of being ricks bitch?
The fact that he also erased Morty’s memory of beating him in a board game is also quite telling of what Evil/ Nihilist Morty might have experienced. Maybe erasure of Morty’s memory is a necessity?
Just watched the last episode. That Jodie Foster contact bit was funny ass hell though. Because you have some astrobiologists having wet dreams about receiving a message from outer space-but you have no idea what you are building or where you are going. You might just end up in a completely shitty situation like those clowns from the last episode.
