Saturday tourneys gonna start next week @ The End in Charlottesville, VA. Can I get the Richmond folks to grace us with their presence. We need the comp and C’ville nigguhs are gonna be up and coming, promise. 
^^Just google mapped it. Not too far, only about an hour drive. Where can I get more info about the tourny, like console preference/games/entree fee etc? If next week looks free I will definitely try to get some people to come with me.

edit: if anyone in the vcu area is looking for casual couple hours play that works great for me since i can’t host big, long gaming sessions. later tonight my girl and her mom are going to a movie perfect window for games. i’ll let you guys know.

Seems a lot of folks are interested in gathering and playing. I’ve been to a few events that “Tornado” (alias is hilarious) has put together with the latest being held at Elephant Thai. Good times… Especially watching Antone break dance before leaving… 
Anyways… I spoke to Tornado last week about putting together a tourny. I’m interested to see who would want to come out, what games would want to be played, and what you all would be interested in as for the prizes. Many tournaments do cash prizes and if that’s what people are interested in they should know that along with cash prizes comes with cost to enter the tournament(s). The tournament wouldn’t be some big event, or would it? The more people to come, the bigger the event, the bigger the prizes, the bigger the bragging rights!
The tourny would more than likely be held at South Park Mall at the Game Cafe. If you’re unfamiliar with the place they have x20 22" Samsung high def screens running X360 and PS3s. They also have x2 40" Samsungs on the wall where you can sit on a couch and play. Pool tables and table tennis are also in the place. They sell drinks, snacks, and the food court is right outside the doors.
At this point I want to know who would attend more than anything else! I don’t use the forums here too often, but you can email me for the fastest response. As I get your emails saying you’ll attend I’ll post a list here so everyone can see who would come. If I get enough players to attend (minimum of 20) I will set an official date with Tornado’s help and the event will be a go!
As of now the projected date for the tourny is: Third Week of September
