You should get an arcade stick. FADC to Metsu should flow very easily, so practice up on that. 
A little piece of added info, if you hit someone at the peak height with a jab shoryuken while they’re jumping, you can get Metsu after that too. I believe it only works with jab, but I don’t play Ryu. He’s good nonetheless.
Special ordered one at my local Gamestop in Harrisonburg. I’m crossing my fingers for both the stick and my tax return to come in this week. That’d be awesome if both comes in before I leave for Chester on Thursday.

And just to inform you, observation can only get you so far. Yes, it’s great and all, but I honestly recommend you play as much as you can against as many people as you can. I’ve told many people this and they’ve become better and better each time I play against them. And that’s one of the main reasons to go to tournaments as well. Tournaments call forth people from other states/cities rather than just your own, people who you don’t get to play against as much as the people in your own state/city. The more experience you have playing against as many people as you can, the better you will get. It’s a proven fact. :tup:
