I just want to know if you can use the her assist to start the trick w/ wesker.
Been testing that. It’s hard because if you do a combo with more than 8hits, the hit-stun won’t allow you dhc before the character falls out of the trap.
EDIT: It is possible but the trap would have to be premeditated because the game doesn’t let you do Trish assist call ,super, dhc due to the cooldown period of the assist.
meaning you have to call the assist first then knock them into it.
I’m pretty sure if anyone can pull that off, wesker can. Even something using his wallbounce or as simple as in the corner, launch+trish assist, air combo knocks them back down into peekaboo.
I don’t think Wesker will work because you need a projectile to hit them at the same time as the trap or you will get spin state and no reset. I’ve successfully done it with Dorm (Chaotic Flame), Sent(Plasma), Ryu (Shinku), Doom(Photon), and Arthur(Goddess Bracelet) so now they have access to the glitch. Also, it works with Storm(Lighting Storm) and Dante(Million Dollar) but there’s no point with them since they can do it on their own already.

I still don’t have MvC3 (in due time, I will), so I don’t have real team yet. Most people pick a character and team-build around it, but I just basically threw together 3 characters I like, and I’m trying to force them to work. The good thing is that has kept my interest in the game up, since I can’t lab it up in training.
My day 1 “team” was Morrigan/Trish/Zero. Zero felt too sluggish for me, so I replaced him with X-23, another favorite. That’s the “team” I’ve been running to this day. I’m trying to find some cohesion amongst them, but it still feels like I’m just playing characters, for the most part.
Has anyone seen Thor yet? I’ve heard some good and bad things about that movie.
I just came back from seeing it. If you liked the other “Marvel Universe” movies, you’ll like this as well.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like it. It was just a waste of my time to learn it when only 2 people in our scene played it. Also, the first major after EVO, TvC had like 10 people. Shit died mad fast.

I also saw Thor and I thought it was pretty well done considering 1. I went in with half expectations because I didn’t know who most of the cast was and 2. I don’t know much on Thor save for bits here and there. I do know what Thor is supposed to sound like and the actor did a damn good job sounding like how he’s supposed to sound imo. Special effects are top notch of course. I wanted to shoot out ‘That was good!..ANOTHER!’ and slam my plate down to the ground afterwards…though I’m sure doing that in Cinebistro would lead to more than just awkward looks.
