Just so everyone knows i have the streaming equipment to actually record and stream video still need to buy a couple more things so we can commentate but as far as the video goes it runs really smooth on my pc
I’ll be at SM tuesday around 5 with a PS3 setup so don’t hesitate to come out early if you want to get some extra games in.
Does anyone know when the new characters are supposed to go live on psn? I guess I can always hop on the SM wifi and download them mid session tommorow if they don’t update PSN until later.
Unfortunately now that Combofiend has made those two popular everyone and thier Mom will be running Spencer and Taskmaster. Good for you for sticking with them from the beginning.

Eh, I doubt it will be that big of a difference. Everybody’s seen how good Phoenix and Sentinel are but people still stick to their guns. I think they’ll give Spencer and Task a go then move back to other characters. At least I hope I remain a unique snowflake.

I’m also wondering what time the characters will be available. I’m guessing it’s not midnight? I’ve never checked to see how early DLC was live.
Sorry guys, but unfortunately I’m not going to be able to bring a setup tommorow. I got roped into a wedding party tommorow that my wife was invited to an hour ago. I was looking foward to puttin this weeks research into practice. I’ll try to maybe stop by after the party or maybe come out to Cary St. On Thurs, but I definately can’t bring a setup tommorow.

Are you guys open to new players or have any that are still learning and play often or anything? I started getting into fighting games just recently when MvC3 came out, but have since taken more of a liking to SSF4 and am pretty hooked (enough to have already ordered a TE stick to start practicing on that). The problem is I obviously suck, none of my local friends play these games, and playing people online hasn’t been the best learning experience. I can win fairly often (about 30%) with Balrog but he’s the only character I’ve really clicked with or become even slightly decent with so far. I figure I just don’t know on my own what I should be focusing or working on, and it’d be cool to find other people locally in the same boat to practice with.

If you must play him. Try only using normals for like 10 fights.
Went into training mode a bunch today. Why is it that everytime I go into training mode looking to level up my entire team, I always find new things with tron?
And yet Storm keeps getting neglected 
Also, newer players are always welcome (they help the community grow). Come on out to SM, Cary St., a local gathering or a tourney to get advice on how to get better. Also, ask questions during matches help you get better if you do come out (which you can’t do online often)!

Is Strange Matter where you guys normally play? What do they have an Xbox hooked up in there or something?
We meet at Strange Matter on Tuesdays and Cary St. Cafe on Thursdays. For SM, at least one person will bring a set up, usually a PS3. Lately we’ve had at least 2 setups going on. We set up on the far side of the bar. For Cary St, Danny has a 360 hooked up to a big projector screen.
Okay, so the plan is to leave Friday @ 5 for Blacksburg. In my car we got Matt, Adam, and Chris.
Adam, is your brother trying to go? I have one more seat if we want to be nice and cozy.
