there were a group of guys that came to FR once for a session in SF4 and CP like a scumbag sat and beat them all up showing no mercy and ive never seen that group of guys again.
its random but me and paul were watching like we should probably stop that so he doesnt discourage them
Alrighty so everything should be set to go for this Saturday and upcoming weekends for Fighting Frenzy’s. Now to make a tourney page…
You guys play marvel?? Me& my friend Ken123103 are from Providence, we’re both really good at marvel& also play SFxT, but hes a lot better than I am
Also if you can school me on the rules for some of the fighters you guys play that would be helpful too
There aren’t too many rules in the fighting game scenes. We pretty much play the game as is.
Soul Calibur, MK9, and SFxT will ban characters not available on both consoles, or are CACs. (So no Devil Jin, Kratos, Pacman, Megaman, Kuro and Turo respectively)
SFxT is usually no gems in tournament.
UMVC3 is not usually 3 out of 5, but I guess thats up to the TO
Looking at the thread, are you not running SFxT at all, actually? Thats a fairly popular game, I think.
Lastly, people are going to be late.
Oh, and I am pretty sure there is a Massachusetts tournament on that same day, (The saturday one). Might be hard to compete with them. We’re a fairly small scene, splitting it will hurt both TOs. Though, that other tournaments date might not be totally set.
I’ll stop buy on a random Friday now and again, but if FRLs on Saturdays now I’ll typically go there. Call it brand loyalty I guess. 
Alright thanks for those rules & tips. Tourney date is set to go so should ask/tell other TOs to try and not conflict with them if not already set.
SFxT and any other game can be played on set-ups set for friendlies/money matches which as tourney progresses more will be open.
Is there a big difference for SSF4 AE?

And really, I like SFxT. Its not that bad of a game, compared to AE anyway. People wanted a fighting game without gimmicks and comeback mechanics (Any useful one anyway) and they got it, and now they say its boring.

Sorry I didn’t end up making it guys. A bunch of stuff has been going on, so I’ve been too busy to actually travel to anywhere besides from school. And with finals coming up this week, everything’s all derp right now. However, when things settle down a bit, I will try to make it to one of these as I do want to level up my game.
I do play online more then anything so if anybody wants to play me in sets in UMvC3 for the PS3, shoot me a PM.
