Saturday would be perfect. Thanks for giving SF2 priority station Table 1:karate: Regarding the table(s), will they have enough space to support 2 or3 tvs? I guess I’m thinking about the tables used for WNF which had a decent amount of space.
Regarding the $5 venue fee, how would you like to handle that…at the door, online registration/paypal?
Myself and the rest of the Fighting Gamers @ UCI group I’ve spoken to will be at attendance. I’ll also be grinding for the MvC3 online tournament being held next month. Super hyped!
The table should fit 2 TVs, just like the size of WNF.
As far as venue fee:Onsite
The TO for this event must check-in the registration desk. We will have side event wristbands for the TO to distribute to your players. After your registration is closed. The TO must return to the registration desk to confirm registrant #'s and fees before the tournament begins.
*To All: Please note, only approved side events will be allowed in Revelations.
Fighting Gamers @ UCI are awesome! See you at Rev and practice up sirs!
If the community would prefer a stick over the PS3 HD monitor then that can be arranged, we just thought that since BB is played on PS that a sweet clip on HD monitor for it would be a fitting prize =)

Just to confirm, if players have already registered for another game on the Line-up, they will not have to pay the venue fee, correct?
Well im sure nobody playing is looking at that prize, they want NUMBER 1. But I know most of the guys signed up as of now and they’d prefer the stick, as would I. (cuz i don’t have one)
For those that don’t know, Capcom is releasing AE June 7 as DLC. We’ve stated that AE should be released at least 1 month prior before making the switch.
We would love to hear some feedback about this topic from Revelations participants as your opinions are important to us.
i think currently the console ssf4 scene is dwindling. announcement of AE DLC seems to have revitalized a lot of people over the mvc3 hype and it may be a positive move to switch to AE. most people will play the same characters and outside of the notables (yes guile and cammy) they’re not hugely different. the situation with yun is unfortunate, but we’ve dealt with vanilla sagat.
i don’t think the tournament will lose out on variety nor lose out on # of entrants with the AE switch.
Super for me, since it is kind of unfair for the majority who don’t have AE near them to have them compete in a game that is 3 days old to them, while some lucky individuals have an advantage over the rest because of where they happen to live.
AE please. I main Cammy even with the nerf, i would rather play AE. and i want to see some sako Yang.
I think you should ask the top players’ opinions because there is alot of money on the line. It doesn’t matter what version, I have no chance anyway. that’s why I would like AE.
Even though I won’t be able to learn Yang in a couple of days and my main has received a nerf, I still vote that AE should be the game. It just brings more hype I guess
