huh

looks a little bit terrible

wow look really bad.

I find it hilarious how anyone in this thread was actually looking forward to this game when its being made by the creators of Smash and Team Ninja. On top of that, almost none of the TMNT licensed games have been good in that last decade.

Those should have been your warning signs right there.

^ I was hoping that the creators of Smash minus Big Brother Sakurai would have produced gold. I hoped wrong. I should have put my hope in Dr. B, since it’s a scientific fact that he always comes through with the mad sexy.

Now if it were a TF09 remix game, I’d be all over it. But this thing? Um… no.

I heard Sirlin is banned from all tournaments in this game.

His yomi was probably too strong.

I’ll reserve my judgment on this when we’ll get more footage or some previews.

A teeny bit of gameplay footage:

They need to use the words “Smash” and “Brawl” a few more times, I think. It’s definitely not obvious enough which other game they are ripping off.

I can’t comment on the gameplay myself yet…there still isn’t enough game play yet. It was all random stage shots.

And what game would you be referring to? I have no clue. ._. Onimusha Blade Warriors perhaps?

Brief E3-IGN article

That article got me hyped for this. Its way deeper than even I expected.

wat is with this wii stuff
tatsunoko vs ryu and now super tmnt brawl 64
put it on the 360 (ps3 if ur that way inclined)
stop making me think about buying a stupid wii arcade stick

That sounded deep to you?

I don’t think you need to worry about that with this game.

Stills:

I wonder if April will be voiced by Buffy like she was in the Imagi flick?

I doubt she will. I read that they were using the voices from the cartoon show.

You haven’t played it and neither have I, so dismissing it right now without even playing it is stupid. It has enough to be a deep fighter.

I didn’t dismiss it, but the article is in front of me too and it doesn’t sound deep at all. Its not a question of the game, its a question of the article.

Ah sorry bout that then. My bad on that misinterpretation.

To me it does sound deep. Then again, I have played more obscure fighters than fighters on the main stream which are very shallow compared to this game.

The game/devs are on the gamespot e3 live show now, just started:

Edit: And it’s over.

Wow. Kinda floaty on some areas, but air moves don’t seem to combo. It seems like the timing is going to be either very loose or very strict on combos for this game.
