Finally getting FFV and Star Ocean repros for my SNES. So excited.
Star Ocean had to be the ultimate game to push the SNES to its graphical boundaries.
It pretty much had the equivalent of an N64 Expansion Pack attached to the cart.

Exciting.

I think Super Mario RPG is the best Mario RPG.

It does so many things right. You know how in the FF games, when you want to say, use an item, you have to scroll your cursor down to where it says items, select it, scroll down to what item you want to use, select it, and THEN you can use it? In Super Mario RPG, you just press a button to get to use an item.

Ehrgeiz… Is awesome.

I felt the minigame in Ehrgeiz was better than the main game.

Got saves to work in NullDC. Code Veronica this weekend!

Mixah, you my nigga, but you DID NOT just disagree about Super Mario RPG being the best Mario RPG… C’mon, son. Paper Mario series is super nice, and Mario&Luigi series is hot fiyah(beyond Partners in Time, but we don’t talk about that), but no, no, no…

Super Mario RPG is both Nintendo and Square at their finest. Can’t be fucked with.

No, I agree with it. I just read it as "Best RPG"
Oops

Indeed.

Wish Nintendo would make a true real sequel to Mario RPG…

super mario rpg is without a doubt the best mario rpg. IMO its the only one. the others are cool…but i look at them as a completely separate series with none of the games coming close to mario rpg as far as music, gameplay, quality, etc.

lol i still own two copies and i have it on my jailbroken ps3.

So Super Hang On–loved the game. Music was the best nostalgia, just some guy on his bike driving around the world. I felt like a badass when I beat expert.

Outride a crisis

Yea Super Mario RPG is fucking sweet, but Paper Mario on the n64 was also super awesome.

Just for starters, the gimmick was done so well, it was like being in a theatre play.

I love Ogre Battle. Wish I had the PS1 version. Would love to play OB64 as well, haven’t played it in years.

Awesome; another Ogre Battle fan. Wished it would receive the HD-treatment with animated intro and endings, hand-drawn sprites etc but keep the game mechanices EXACTLY as it was. /keeps dreaming.

Part of me hates Square Enix for not doing anything with the series after they acquired the OB team. We got the PSP remake, but that was it.

Metal Slug 7 on the NDS is damn good. It improves on everything that went wrong with 6. Too bad about the slowdown and the XX version being an XBLA exclusive.

Seeing your million dollar frame get broken off one crash is so disheartening.

it was also on the psp.
i put a ridiculous amount of time on ms7. definitely one of my favorites.
at first i didn’t like 6 that much either but when me and a friend got together and tried beating it with only 12 credits between us we spent literally 9 hours non stop trying to beat it.

@Combo_Knight… Son, you’re going to have explain why you disagreed with my post on Super Mario RPG and go into real detail, because there is no way you can logically come to the conclusion that there is any other Mario RPG on its level. A couple come real close, but none of them can take the crown.

Do you also think DmC is better than DMC1/3/4 too?

I remember the arcade version being LOUD AS FUCK in the only arcade I ever found it in. I think it had Tekken 3 on the left side of it and Marvel vs Capcom on the right. But yeah a pretty good game.
