Speaking of potentially banned stages, I sort of want to unlock Spear Pillar before this thing, but for some reason I can’t get any of the events after #20 even though I beat all of them on Hard.

Maybe you need to unlock all the characters? Either that or complete SSE is my guess.
You need to unlock all the characters to unlock the rest of the events.

Yeah, I just found out about the characters thing myself. I’m having trouble with the final event, though.

I think its easiest that each pairing adds their friends code at the time they find their matchup, instead of having everyone add everyone else. That way you only need to add one person per round. If I had more time, I would have posted the bracket up early, but unfortunately work and such thwarts that idea.

I will still write down names of people who want to register, even though the 32 cap has been hit, as I expect no shows-dropouts etc. So there is still a good chance you can play tonight if you still try to sign up. If enough people sign up between now and tonight, I -may- expand the bracket to 64.

IIRC to get the spear pillar event you need to unlock snake first, or maybe whoever unlocks after him
