why does everyone think the girl at the end of the vid is sherry? its alice for fucks sake
i dont like how they opened up resident evil 5 “evil place, vacant stares” etc but maybe just MayBe (hopefully) those are words carefully chosen to pick out racist people and any assumptions made about africans, when they play the game they find out the truth about africans.
this could be a good thing in the game i mean seriously we need to open our minds here; “darkness = black people and evil” is a load of rubbish. light creates pigmentation and darkness takes away pigmentation, cant people look at it logically?
and as for the girl it’s good that she’s attractive its a very obvious contrast from being haunted by the infected and other beasties and then having a vision of beauty in front of you for all your hard work.

July 9, 2008 - The mystery heroine who has been appearing in the Resident Evil 5 screenshots and trailers has at long last been identified. This week’s Famitsu has first details on that character and more.
According to the magazine, the character’s name is Sheva Alomar. Born in Africa, the setting of this latest RE title, Sheva is an agent in the West African branch of the B.S.A.A. (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), the organization whose North American branch has Chris’s loyalty. In her past, she was caught up in some sort of bio-terror incident and grew extremely hateful of terrorism.
While Famitsu didn’t get into specifics on RE5’s storyline, it did reveal that Sheva will be meeting up with Chris in Africa after he’s dispatched there on a mission. The setting of Chris and Sheva’s new survival horror adventure is Kijuju, that ruined town shown in the trailers.
Sheva will be fighting alongside Chris, but she seems to have some advantages over the long time RE series hero. In addition to being good with guns, she’s also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
Also revealed in this week’s issue is a mysterious masked character who dresses in robes. He may be a villain, or he may be an ally.
With E3 just around the corner, expect more details on Sheva, Chris, Kijuju, and all things Resident Evil 5 soon.

Seems just like yesterday I was watching Robert Kendo eaten alive by zombies for the first time ever. Now here we are. Can’t wait to see RE5 in action.
Too bad the Biohazard 4D executer couldn’t be tied into this but the creature would probably be too broken to include in the main series.
E3 2008: Resident Evil 5 Dated
Online co-op and other details announced.
July 14, 2008 - Capcom has announced a March 12, 2009 release date for Resident Evil 5 in Japan and March 13, 2008 date for North America and Europe at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. Also announced was the fact that the game will feature online cooperative play. Players will be able to hop-in-and-out and teams will be able to do moves that they couldn’t do by themselves.
Nice updates for RE5. It’s gonna be rough waiting until 03/09 for a new RE but I’ll survive somehow.
I just picked up a brand new copy of RE2GC from Gamestop for $30.00. It was marked as used but there’s not a single sign of useage (scratches) on the disc or the manual. Playing Leon’s A scenario, made it to the 2nd Birkin moster fight and forgot to grab extra health. Fuck. I didn’t save a single time either - just wasted 1:40.
I’m still amazed at how I’ve managed to memorize the entire A scenario game.
…I’m snatching this up Day 1. Fuck any reviews, impressions or any of that shit. Day 1. Like Day 26, only it’s 25 less, and it doesn’t represent how many days you’ve gone without P.Diddy paying you.
