Props, but Capcom was trippin for making it on a handheld console. That blew all the hype for me.
As long as the game is set before October 2009, they can get away with “The Tenth Anniversary of the Raccoon City Incident”, seeing as that would be the 11th Anniversary.
And Chris was all PTSD after RE5, so it works
The new enemy in Chris’ section looks like a Bandersnatch 2.0. I wonder if it’s still going to be as easy to kill as it’s predecessor. Side-stepping should own it even harder now.

I agree with this.
RE is definitely taking a new direction, but I dunno if it’s a direction that most fans will appreciate. Very few people liked RE5 in comparison to RE4. RE4 has definitely raised the bar, but perhaps that bar was too high up for Capcom to actually understand.
Now with Clover studios gone, I don’t think Capcom will have what it takes to prevent the RE series from being as good as it could have been.

The Raccoon City incident took place in 1998, and RE5 takes place in 2009. This game, apparently, takes place in 2008… which is kind of a bummer in my opinion. Hopefully, that’s not the case/
Thanks for the replies guys. What about RE5 Gold? Were any of the bad things tweaked a bit? I found a bunch of them sitting in my local Best Buy for only $40 and thought about copping a copy and getting back into the RE story with the game along with Veronica Code and RE4.
We all know 6 will be good but will it be great? Personally I’m much more hype for REvelations just because it looks more like classic RE.
Man, I’m all for RE: Revelations, but it’s unfortunate that it’s on the 3DS. It’s not because I dislike the handheld, but because I need to wait for a revision or two, after I got burned by broken hinges with the DS Lite. 
Ugh regression at it’s worse. Oh well at least it means that Wesker will most likely be the main antagonist.

Watch, Chris and Leon both arrive at the bad guys lair but on the oppisite end of the place and they both fight different final bosses.
I hope Ada makes an appearence considering that Leon is in the game. But I know Leon tapped that Ashley, but did he tap that Claire? Boy oh boy if Chris finds out about that one…Leon vs Chris fist fight would be epic.
I doubt that Wesker will be the complete central focus, Considering its 2008 Wesker is still working on the Uroboros project probably in Africa, just beginning to sow the threads for RE5.
oh and Wesker is actually obviously too busy beating up everyone in Marvel 3.

So its safe to say there will be at least 4 playable characters? Ashley/Chris/Alex/Leon? Hopefully you can play with whatever team of 2 that you want.

Hopefully the higher the difficulty the more scarce the ammo and/or enemy placement is different.
Also for the people who are complaining about the AI being worthless, Resident Evil 5 wasnt meant to be played by yourself. Unless you were trying to collect emblems or get achievements, which were usually easier with a human anyway, it wasnt meant to be played by yourself.
And on that note the part in the beginning where it looked like Chris was in the blacked-out city, look creepy to me. I’m not opposed to action-horror if the action is spot on.

I also saw that Leon’s new chick side kick is also playable. Its safe to say that the teams are more like
Chris/Beare (Chris’s second in command)
Alex/Ashley
Leon/New Chick
Though it looks like the game takes different perspectives. Chris is more the official perspective, he has the backing of state goverments (since the U.N commands the BSAA) Leon is more of the secret agent perspective with the backing of the CIA/Secret Service, and Alex is more of a lone wolf it seems, though since he says he was a mercenary either he is currently a mercenary or PMC/ employed by a state goverment.
Since Chris fights in more battlefield esque settings (He’s even in a tank in one part) so he’ll most likely be more Operation Raccon City esque and have several AI partners. So its like…Call of Chris: Modern BOW? or Gears of Chris? perhaps even BSAA: US Navy Chris.
Rebecca was never jailbait. She’s 18 during the events of RE0 and REmake
It’s funny how in the span of only 2 games, Leon went from the series’ biggest pussy to a total boss. Someone earlier noted that he is not aging well though, and that is the damn truth.
Leon solo’d two El Gigante. Chris had help from Sheva, two gatling guns and a syringe filled with steroids. Leon would suplex him off of the face of the earth.
