Nope. You can’t even upgrade your guns in this game. It’s been switched out for an abilities system o_O
NO GOOD STRANGAH
Question since my ps3 is dying and my 360 is still fine. Does this look better on ps3 or 360?
Pretty much. The lack of vulnerability is what takes away from the current games and with RE6 introducing so many new aspects to avoid, counter close range attacks now, I don’t see how limited ammo would ever become a serious issue.
The stamina aspect in RE6 though does look fun, and how can anyone say the OG RE games weren’t horror, or scary? RE1 of simply the mansion scene itself, those tight corners, going outside, the dog scenes, if anyone says that they didn’t jump at one point in time or didn’t hesitate to move forward because of what could show up while playing RE1 back in the day when it first came out would be flat out lying.
In RE3 having Nemesis run you down while you had nothing but a 9mm pistol while also being low on ammo, or the famed daughter in RE1-Remake which to this day, nothing is even remotely as frightening as she was, and imo that one is arguably for me the creepiest RE game I’ve ever played as far as “first time” experience is concerned.
The whole atmosphere of the older games just felt more intimidating. My other gripe with the new RE games is that the zombies are becoming too intelligent which removes the fear factor from them. I don’t mind them being smarter on how they react which isn’t the problem, but seeing them using guns and all really makes takes away from the whole “zombie” element if you will.
I ain’t crapping on the new games, I still find them fun, however the path of action-based is becoming far too emphasized now then back in the OG days where the other elements were more dominant.
The RE storyline has always dictated the direction of the series and of the enemies. Zombies got played out and once they introduced the Las Plagas virus thats when things got interesting. The series has always had tense moments but to even say its scary is stretching it.
Yeah she would def get the stun rod.
By the way somebody already uploaded Leon’s full campaign walkthrough. Its definitely interesting and has that old RE feeling to it.
Dead Space could use the Alan Wake Juke™ at least. I love the Alan Wake Juke™.
I did jump back in the day, but here’s the thing about back in the day…I was in Elementary School.
well maybe not “scary” (cuz nothing is scary) but old re games sure were intense. far more interesting than “here are lot of guns and ammo…go kill shit” we have now.
Obviously not.
Still dunno how Capcom didn;t get the Memo on that thing tho. Once you see you can’t unsee it and it makes the logo look like a joke.
i just got done with chris and jakes campaign. now workin on leons.
funnest part of resident evil 6 so far:

Spoiler
putting one of those hands BOW in a microwave and also in a boiling soup pot
Anyone know how I unlock the other Merc stages?
Getting an A rank on Urban Chaos with Jake only gave my Helena and an alt costume for Jake
From what I read on Neogaf there are three Merc stages only and I think beating all the campaigns unlocks them all. The other three are store exclusive DLC for now and I believe that there are 4 more to be released at a later time as well. So 10 stages total? Anyone is free to correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m disappointed that we don’t have more to start. I loved that RE5 had like 5 or 6 Mercs stages from the get-go.
Just watched RE damnation…man pretty good with Leon “Badass” Kennedy taking no slack from anyone. And ada vs the prez mmm faptastic. Plus the secret ending leading to something in RE 6 pretty good.
Anbody know the install size for RE 6 on 360? working with a paltry 4 gig unless i can snag a bigger HD in there since my ps3 is down for the count.
^ its like 7gb
