How much has your execution improved since using that new dpad?
Nice job 3D printing the d-pad. I hope Mad Catz does that with a updated version. I think they pulled it because you can’t but it anymore. It’s listed as out of stock on Mad Catz’s site and it looks like you can only buy used versions on Amazon.

I doubt Mad Catz is going to bother releasing a new revision of the controller, they just got ditched by Harmonix and are doing bad financially.

The new d-pad is legit, so far. Pretty pleased with my purchase right now.
Nice, seriously considering purchasing the re release. The original was horrible but I liked the feel of the controller. Not as much as the hori fc4 but close.
Ive been enjoying the updated version a lot. Im having a hard time deciding whether I like it or the new(ish) Hori FC4 more. Both have great Dpads.

I actually like the new one quite a deal more than the FC4. I’m not a fan of the crosshair, really, plus the FC4 feels noticeably more asymmetrical than the FPP does. I do miss the trigger buttons, though…FPP’s triggers are a little sharp lol.
Bleh, seems like the upgrade is too good to be true. The d-pad’s contact points on the back are not sturdy at all. They’re like fan blades, but with a super skinny base. After heavy use, like a month, one of the pieces snapped on me.
Seems the Hori FC4 is still the go-to pad. Sucks, cuz I really liked the new pad.
Don’t tell me that, I was going to buy one today? Anyone else having this issue?

The left analog stick being too close to the dpad is a flaw as well. Yes, you can have it emulate L3 or something like that, but it’s still going to touch my thumb and distract me when I do certain motion inputs. I guess I can always open the case and remove the cover, but it’s not worth going through all this trouble.
