Same goes to everyone else, regardless if it’s CvS2, or XX.
As for the KoF2k3 with Rob, FUCK THAT SHIT. I lost to basic bullshit, and I hate it >.<. But that’s usually the case with me playing againts Rob, no fancy shit, just good ole basic SF strats. I should utilize that more. And Rob, I will now :).
Tourney tonight, just wondering, what games are going to be there??? Is SC2 also going to be included? Since, well that game takes FOREVER to finish, and it just drags the tourney. Plus since the CvS2 and XX are like FAR from each other, we really don’t need another game to actually create even more chaos. Just my opinion.

After what happened tonight I thought we should all discuss some shit…
First of all, I don’t think any of us should be wasting our time playing XX. Norcal regionals will be #r, Japan is #r. The only reason the US isn’t playing #r right now is because Arcades don’t give two fucks about fighting games when they can make 10x as much cash from redemption. That is a bullshit reason not to be playing the game.
And you can say “Who cares about Japan? We only play US players,” if you want, but if you aren’t secretly thinking about being competitive with Jap players, then you aren’t taking the game seriously enough. I honestly think we are not that far behind them in Guilty Gear; but people insist on idolizing them and blowing shit out of proportion. They just have certain cultural advantages: a huge, skilled playerbase, social acceptance for playing video games all fucking day long, and home-made capes and cosplay shit that give them an edge during tournament play.
So anyways, first topic covered: play #r, have #r console tournaments.
Second is regionals. I know a lot of people have school, but we should really start preparing for this. Also, who is all planning on going?
I was really disappointed about last regionals. Not just because those losers scrubbed me out of the brackets for GG and I didn’t get a chance to play, nor because it cost like 50 fucking dollars to enter the tournament, but because we all did much worse than we could have done.
I still have no clue why some of us lost; we had those bitches no prob in my opinion. Also those sticks were so gay, wtf. I felt like I was flying a damn plane instead of playing a game. I know for a fact that…
From my own experiences I can say that a big part of me losing was that I expected people to be better than they actually were. I played Ricky’s Baiken very cautious like it was JP’s. However, Ricky’s didn’t even hold a candle to JP’s and I ended up losing to stupid shit. As for Ken I.'s horrible fucking bullshit we all know what was up with that.
Second topic covered: we need to step up, practice like bandits, and take regionals by storm.
Third, the emotional bullshit really has to stop. I’m just as guilty as everyone else for getting pissed off and talking shit, but it’s totally not cool. You can get angry that some fool beat you and piss and moan about how it’s bullshit, but the fact of the matter is that you got beat; you need to step up and take that loss. Show some respect and give them props. They’re part of the crew, so it’s all good.
Getting angry and losing your cool is just bad for your game in general. It makes you anxious and prone to fuckups.
