ok… how about this… drinking rule wont take into effect say… 10:30pm…
so from 8-10:30pm the shots per game wont be in effect, unless u accept a challenge but you are not required. After that time… u must accept it regardless… this gives an opportuity for those who dont want to drink to come and hang out and play w/o the fear of mandatory drinking… and those who want to challenge others after 10:30 u gotta accept or else!!! hehehe

Or you could have a system where you can do shots OR money matches for 1 dollar or 5 dollar minimum or something like that… but yeah, I’m definitely not going to do the drinks.
I probably won’t be able to go this week because theres a brawl tourney this Saturday and my parents get pissed if I game too much… Had to choose one or the other!

Yo, I really don’t see why people are getting so butt hurt about the whole drinking thing.
If you don’t drink, then more power to ya… But it kinda comes with the territory with living in Reno. The purpose of this is to get some people together and nerd it up while having fun.
It’s like playing poker. Not that big a deal if it’s play chips, but throw some money on the line and it’s pretty much a different ball game.
I like the $1-5 bets. That could work for the non drinkers and still keep the competition fierce. It’s not much money. That’s 2 cheeseburgers. I’ll break a $5 for that.

The reason I didnt do Money match is because most of us arent even willing to put in $1 for tourney back in the melee days so I figure making mandatory money match would bring more backlash… drinking was easier… but i guess not… oh well as far as im concern the drink rule still applies… money match are also welcome too
Uh … well, some people don’t drink when they game. I’ve gotten over the whole thing, but honestly I’d rather drink mixed shots if I’m gonna be driving home that night for work the next morning.
I can’t show up this Friday due to inventory lasting until like 11pm or some crazy number, so unfortunately I’ll miss out.

Brawl may be the only thing I’m able to compete at… especially since I’ve never played GG. What about SC3?
CvS2 / ST / GG / Brawl are the main games
CvS2 all the street fighter / GG players can play
ST all the SF players / GG players can play
GG all the GG players can play, the ST guys can’t
Brawl all the brawl players play, nobody else is good at it
so … ultimately GG is the smallest scene, CvS2 is probably the most easily accessable game for reno to play, followed by 3S / ST, then Brawl is easily!!! the biggest game, with like 30 players all the time. @_@

hey guys I’m really disapointed I didn’t make it last friday.
I came home from working 2 jobs with the intention of taking a nap, next thing I know I woke up and it was 2 in the morning.
