Thanks Paul, I just checked and quite a few people registered have birthdays today. I’m just gona eat dinner at home and eat my favorite cake I have every year, carrot cake. See ya guys around.
Oh and don’t mean to be a noob, but Kugz is the character in your AV the new character in Slash? I think that’s the big ass key person my brother was talking about, I had to to watch it for like a minute because that shit is movin crazy. Did Potemkin get any new moves?hopefully they improved his command grab range, it was always somewhat lacking.
Hey whatup JP, How you doing? Thanks for the info Paul that was pretty indepth, what’s that new move do? Ahh shit, I just read he can’t reflect super moves anymore, is that right? Oh well, with F+p being jump cancelable and multi-direction ass dives if I read correctly, also if he’s cornered and throws you into Frc combo, omg he’s uber-tier!
How is that KOF JP? What’s the Ikari team, any Heidern? Any Goro for JPN? Any Shingo or Saisyu? Is the music cool and backgrounds cool? Any 96’ Boss team (Geese, krauser, Mr. big?)
JUDGE GAUNTLET is a weird move. Potemkin has like 50 frames of start-up, it does 80 damage-ish on hit, and has unlimited super armor. However, each time you get hit you will take nearly full damage / countered for it. Generally speaking, nobody really uses it.
Potemkin’s real meat now is his normal throw being hella better (2 hits, knockdown. Also, an FRC option so you can do heat-grab or basic combo). His 6P is hella better, because you can do beef like (against both standing opponents) 6P ch -> (jump) j.HS -> (land) s.HS -> shield, or whatever dumbass combo you want. Hella, hella annoying.
Uh… what else. He can’t do command grab -> far slash -> heatgrab vs. May or Axl anymore, and… his air super goes higher, I think. Other then that, he’s pretty much the same old mash fest you know and love.
So, does this mean you’re back into the scene Chris? We need a Potemkin player… ;o
anyone know anything about computers? i need to build one so i can play oblivion, but the last one i built was an athlon 700 back in the fucking year 2000.
Yeah, I can point you in the right direction as far as powerful gaming stuff goes. Oblivion would probably cost about… $1200/1300 to play well, I think.
AMD processor, anything with the 939 socket type. I personally recommend the 3200+ or 3700+. Cheap, very fast.
A gig of valueselect ram
A 100 gig harddrive is like 80 bucks now.
A motherboard that is Socket 939, and supports PCI-Express.
