Regency is real, real nice but I like Super. Practicing at super is like handicapping yourself.

Yeah, you’re the only person besides me to bring that up since we ran it at Regency before, why not Super this time around? I didn’t feel comfortable playing on those sticks since Super has a very different set up, esp. w/o any practice beforehand. So the other way around wouldn’t be much off from fair ground, what with no money but just pride involved (more or less).

You guys run Jap sticks though, don’t you? Usually conforming to a different kind of stick is easier when going from Jap to AmUrKan. Don’t ask me to explain why, but it seems like japanese stick players have little to no problem playing on amurkan stixies. Maybe it’s cause only ching chongs and azn persuaded individuals play on them. Y’all need to get the fuck back in china or at least out of this thread and make this happen. I’m just saying cuz of 1. gas prices, 2. i have no pride in this match or even game, I just play for fun and to have fun, so winning or losing will have no impact in my life, 3. shit has already been held at Regency, this is supposed to be Regency vs. Super, NOT Super goes to Regency every time this match up is held.
So I brought that shit up. Wherever it happens, when it comes down to it I don’t give a fuck, it’s just a fucking game. I think we agreed to have it Regency the first time cuz of the calibur of players that are on Team Super. It is already like a Pros vs Joes situation plus most of the players on Team Super (not including Calvin) have played on everything from American / Japanese / Console vs Regency who has 0 experience on Japanese sticks.
That being said… I think that this should be held on a weekend. Maybe people can start suggesting a day? I suggest Saturday July 19th.
