Sakura likes abuse, she is the ONLY character that smiles when she is about to get Ultra’ed. She is the only one who smiles after being knocked down. She likes it rough, so curse her arse out!

Sonic Boom = SPD
SPD = Sonic Boom or Tandem Engine
Ultra = Teleport
Teleport = EX Shoryuken or Fireworks Kicks
Fireworks Kicks = Tandem Engine

haha it’s funny, i DID try seth once… I literally got as far as sonic boom = spd… I was standing there trying to throw booms and seth just kept hugging air…

Hehe, I guess Seth must really like the air to try hugging it all the time.
I like Seth for his combos; getting a jump on someone, linking into Fireworks Kicks and then head stomping into Dive Kick in the corner is pretty awesome (SPD usually waits them when they land), it’s akin to getting some nice combos in with Sakura. Also a lot of nubs can’t deal with his Sonic Boom > teleport behind trickery on wake-up hehe
The extremely low health and constant command fuck-ups (I’ll admit my fault majority of the time and negative edge the rest) is very frustrating though, I have to work my arse off to get a win when Sagat just waltzes along and gets a lucky EX Tiger Uppercut and I’ve lost 
I’ll most likely drop him when SSF4 comes around, if those rumours turn out to be true there’ll be a lot of characters I’ll be trying to play with
I’ll never give up Sakura though, no one will ever take her place but they may take a close second (like Dan) 
Edit: Just read that we’ll be able to save our own replays in SSF4, huzzah! Everyone on my friendlist will be able to see my crappy matches Just need to work out a way of getting it on youtube, maybe finding a friend who can record it directly off the console…

Even I wishlist (Makoto, Karin) for SSF4 are women…
EDIT: One thing I just thought of is… I feel more accomplished when I win as a female character… I’m not being sexist btw They just have lower life and are usually offensive based.
not me my main in 3rd strike was yun and in mvc 2 its guile, captain cammando, and the third varies. i just really took a liking to sakura in this game.
Sakura is really the only female video game character that I consider one of my favorites.
In 3rd Strike I usually played with Akuma, Sean and Dudley. In past Street Fighters, I used Dictator, Boxer, Guile, and Dee Jay.
It wasn’t until I played the Alpha series that I was enamored with Sakura and her story. Since then, she has become my favorite character
I must admit I find female characters more “alluring” than male ones but if I just can’t get on with the character and/or play style then sadly I have to drop them. My three mains are Sakura, Dan and Seth in that order but I do like Cammy and Rose, just can’t get on with Chunners though and Viper is way too technical for me. Juri will most likely take Seth’s place and if the rumours are true I’m looking to get into Makoto and Ibuki as well, I liked them in SF3 but it was just too technical for me. Karin is also #1 on my wish list, couldn’t play her well in Alpha 3 but seeing how SF4 is easier to play I’d love to be able to use her more effeciently. Speaking of Alpha 3, Rainbow Mika was also a favourite of mine, like a female version of Zangief but not nearly as hax
In SC4 my favourites are Tira, Mi-na and Rock, Rock’s pretty much the polar opposite of female characters due to his immense manliness and fondness of eating lions
DOA4 Hitomi is my favourite character with Brad taking second (drunken boxing FTW!).
So yeah, as much as I love my female fighters I can get along with male ones too

I am not an Alpha Pro or anything, but I was playing around with Mika against a dude who plays alpha all the time, and he couldn’t do anything to stop her. It was so lulz.

Haven’t played Mika in forever, it would be nice to see her in Super.
I believe she was pretty low down on the tier listings, I even saw Dan higher than her in one list
One of her command throws had weaksauce distance and the other could be compared to a faster version of Zangief’s running bear hug or whatever. She did have a crouch grab and not one but two air grabs, which was pretty cool though
Sadly I believe Seth laughed at someone suggesting Mika once There’s more chance of seeing Karin than Mika I think (Karin appeared in Namco X Capcom) but still seems pretty unlikely
so what are the other characters u guys use, i would like to get some practice in against other characters before i go to the norcal tourny. ill be online next week so ill probably try to hit u guys up for some player matches
My female fatales in order are Viper, Sakura and Chun. I like Viper’s moveset, consisting of meaty punches and kicks. Sakura has a similar style of single handed haymarkers and side kicks. Not a big of Chun-li’s slaps and chops, but I do like her legs alot…a whole lot. Played Cammy and Rose for awhile, then I stopped playing them. Hope to pick up those two again in the future.

I had a first thing this week: I was playing a mirror match, won the first round and ended it with a double KO. I’ve had dko’s before, but in a mirror match? That was pretty cool.
