So, as Fergus is already aware, I found the Sakura Ganbaru Final Chapter doujin. This thing took me six years to track down. Six years looking for something in the internet age. Fucking unheard of.
Finally got a translator to work on it too. He says it should be done by Monday.

Went to this arcade yesterday, and played some sf4 along with other installments of sf like CvS 2 and alpha 2.

The good news is, I didnt get bodied by this one guy, who used to body me in the past. Got to test out my new setups on this ryu and they worked, and even got some perfects because of that :D.

The bad news is that dropped way to many combos in the beginning, because I wasnt used to the super fast monitor yet, but it got a little bit better later on.

I think I’ll be ordering one of those sub 1 frame lag monitors listed elsewhere on srk, to prevent this from happening again.

Yeah, definitely worth it for £100 but only reason I haven’t bought one is because I literally have nowhere to put it…
But yep… unless I can take my TV with me, I will get bodied at all tournaments (y)

If you happen to have an old crt monitor somewhere and don’t mind the decrease in quality you can play on those and not have any lag at all.

yeah playing on hd tvs is seriously the worst. I’d rather play tic tac toe than sf on a big lcd tv.

You can always adjust to different setups to the extent that you can do your combos again, but forget trying to play footsies on a laggy setup. Shit doesn’t work.

Congratulations to Chris G on winning Big Two #21!
Not that big of a tourney and not that many amazing players but still managed to beat a good Guile (Dieminion who Uryo lost to at EVO) and Santhrax as well!
His Sakura has definitely levelled up but I always cringe when he constantly goes for 2 frame links and never 1 frame links but at least he’s landing them consistently!
