Given it’s me armchair quarterbacking, but he positively mauled people that whole weekend and showed how skilled he was, then he gets nervous and played far below what he’s capable of, throwing out fullscreen air tatsus, dropping very easy stuff, not attempting to bait out a bad reversal when GamerBee had shown that he was disrespecting him enough to just throw them out there, and letting him jump right in his face without challenging it at all. Every other match of his I watched that weekend showed he was good enough to win that.

Its not really about she being good or bad (i think she is top 5, anyway), i just figured i have more fun sweeping fools out of their whiffed limbs, so i’m probably going to Ryu or Akuma now.

Man for some reason a bunch of Hondas started joining my lobby. That match is so hard, probably only won one with Sakura then when I switched to rose I had a much easier time.

Also I got bodied at the tournament… I wasn’t nervous or anything… I just couldn’t do a single combo…
I was doing all of them at home on training mode this morning like nearly every time so I was like woo, gonna kick ass, then got to tournament.
Couldn’t do a single one.
Apparently its cos I’m using a TV and cos its 32" its very, very slightly laggier than the 22" PC monitors at the tournament which made 1 frame/2 frame links timing different and all I could do was regular crLK, crLP, crLP, crMK, shuoken combos and as you probably know, I did very bad.
Won 2 matches and lost 2 and got knocked out…
Problem X came 3rd, Ryan Hart came 2nd and some random guy I’ve never heard of of using Abel, called Taha won.
The grand finals was HYPE!
Can’t wait for my next tournament but need a better monitor at home -_-

Better luck next time man, I know what you mean about the monitors, the ones that are used over here are really good asus monitors, it’s insane how fast those are, I asked where I could buy them, but apparently they’re not being sold anymore so gotta find one that is similar. :\

The first guy I faced was a guy called “Sheep”… he used random for first game, got Akuma and lost then picked Ryu and won 1 match then 1st round he played good but i won, then he played good + random mashing and he won and then he literally held up back and high kick the whole match and threw fireballs and I won…
After the match I said gg, Daigo would be proud.

If you don’t have fun with Sakura I don’t really see a point of using her.
There are tons of characters MILES better…

What’s GGPO btw?
I know its the best netcode but what does it mean?
Does it mean those remade games they made like 3rd strike, mvc origins and stuff?

Windjammers look like the most intense battle of air hockey ever.

Well it’s basically just a netcode. It’s original purpose was to allow peer to peer gaming for arcade fighters. Just recently it’s starting to be used for commercially produced games (3so, skullgirls, etc). Anyways, if you google ggpo you can find a download for the ggpo emulator (basically MAME with limited support for games) and can play arcade games with others online. You’ll have to obtain ROMs for any game you want to play however (legally of course.)

Would this work with Street Fighter 4?
I think people don’t use it because they don’t have a good pc/laptop to run it and cba getting a pc/laptop because they’re fine with console and pc connections are mostly good enough.
