while no one here is using the tier list as a definitive RPS list of who beats who, it is an insight as to how much harder you have to work against certain characters due to their tools and moveset. iâm not saying that if sak goes 4-6 against someone that itâs an automatic L, because obviously she wins 4 times out of 6. what we take away from those numbers is that when both players of equal skill face off, the statistics show that the person with the better tools will win 6 out of 10 times. no one here is saying that sak takes an automatic L, and of course in every match, you have a chance of winningâŚbut folks coming in here talking about how she now goes 5-5 with everyone is just dilusional. there ARE bad match-ups, and your opinion of what is and isnât a bad matchup is going to go hand in hand with your experiences and the skill level of your opponents.
people who have played her since vanilla (like myself), have always seen potential in her, and thatâs why weâre sticking with her. blindly saying she now has no bad match-ups is hyped on that âkindevu said this, and so now sheâs unbeatableâ. trust, sheâs beatable, and if you havenât even touched AE, then your opinions, thoughts and theory fighting are merely speculation and second-hand. she has an easier time winning, but there are uphill battlesâŚwhatâs wrong with saying that?
btw, the sak player was uryo. and if youâre saying that the tier list is just numbers that shouldnât be taken as gospel, then why mention that the opposing ken had 90,000 bp? isnât relying on a number in that case just as misleading?

Sheâs unbeatable? Who said that? Of course she has bad matchups, its Street Fighter bro. I argee with you. Kindevu never said that and neither did I. I simply said that matchups were easier, point blank. And like I said I PLAY AE EVERYDAY, if you didnt read that. As for the points, I was only pointing out how skilled the Ken was and he wasnt just some buster ass Ken fighting a skilled Sakura player such as Uryo. I knew who he was when I posted.
and no disrespect is meant towards you either. we both rep the same character, but honestly, you come off as if someone disagrees with how strong you think sheâs gotten, that they should just up and change characters. i mean, if we all just talked about how we win against everyone, then thereâs no room for growth of development of strategies. if the response to âi canât beat character Xâ or âcharacter X is a bad matchupâ is always met with, âmaybe you should just change charactersâ or âthen learn to get betterâ, then how are genuine discussions supposed to happen?

No sir, its not like that. The conversation got started when I copy and pasted something from eventhubs, and put it on here. And of course Im not saying to switch and to be honest with I feel that Sakuras buffs were ok but not much because Capcom changed alot of things about the cast. As Ono said there where heavy balance changes to the game and with those changes Sakura got better. Most things Sakura had trouble with have been made easier to deal with to give her a better chance to win. Thats why they are saying shes A-tier and through my own personal experience, not Daigoâs, not Tokidoâs, not Magoâs, and not Kindevuâs is the reason I think she is A-tier now.
And I think the Ken vs Sakura much up is 5-5 now.

I can play you in a couple 1v1 matches and give you some advice/critique (either real time with mic, or just through messages). I think that should be enough, unless you are already gdlk and tournament material.

I know this is hard for you guys to believeâŚbut game tier lists are never set in stone in this short span of time. If you were around for the 3s era you would know that list changed constantly forever and still has some debates. Ice man used to be considered absolutely broken in MVC2. I donât see what you gain by arguing something that is still very much in its early stages. You guys want to banter on this be my guest, just know itâs all pretty pointless.

i know it takes tier lists a long time to develop, and i know that our discussion is happening for a game that isnât even half a year old, but you know what? it has to start somewhere. itâs out now, and we play it now. we play against other characters and we get a feel for who is a hard match-up and who isnât. weâre talking about her tools versus another characterâs tools, and weâre talking about how pressure can be applied or avoided. weâre not just twiddling our fingers and saying 6-4 or 5-5, thereâs an actual discussion as to why. iâm sorry if you feel left out, or if you think itâs stupid to talk about where she ranks at such an early stage, but itâs happening. i donât know who you think you are that we have to wait for you to get to play in order for us to discuss the game, but trust that it happens at the birth of every game. tier lists are speculated upon, changed and changed again, get over it.
to keep things on topic, i like her chances against fei, which probably explains why folks think sheâs so good. her cr.mk keeps him from random rekka pressure, and after blocking two rekkas, you can punish with cr.mk xx shouken.

Yeah tiers donât matter too much, but for me itâs just fun to see how others feel about their character. I think what surprises people most is not where Sakura was placed but who was placed below her, like Guile and E.honda. Everyone has their own thoughts on this so itâs fair enough. But yeah Sakura is strong even though I get owned in matches I still find her very solid in this game as well as in Super.

It seems like everyone except the Sakura forums thinks their character is trash lol. Have you ever seen a Viper player try and tell you sheâs a bad character? Itâs some of the funniest stuff Iâve ever read on these forums.
