What happened to the vanilla Sakura combo calculator? I asked this some time ago but I didnāt get an answer. Also, is there an SSF4 version?
I ask this because I made an Ibuki calculator (still in beta) here: http://shoryuken.com/f336/ibuki-calculator-272133/ and here http://ibukicalculator7.com/IbukiCalculator.html but got stuck since I couldnāt get the dmg/stun/meter values of Ibukiās target combos. Seeing as how Sakura doesnāt have such nonsense, I figure hers would be easier to make. So if there is no SSF4 Sakura calculator, do you guys want me to make one? If so, Iāll need help getting the numbers of all her moves.
Itād be best to wait on AE before doing this? Just incase she got any damage buff on anything

Yeah but the last line where it says āhitboxes, recovery, damage has been improved overall to make her strongerā so thatās pretty vague and we wonāt really see any damage differences until we get AE on consoles for training mode to test ourselves. Like the damage buff (if there is any) could be very small
I could just do both, assuming nothing has changed except different dmg/stun/meter, right?
Is there a list of āadvancedā stuff(ie setups) with Sak somewhere? I came up with a few and I stole one from the Japanese after 2 hit oroshi in the corner that is sick, but finding reliable repeatable setups is time consuming, and Iāve already done this with Blanka, and Deejay and Iām just tired.
The stuff in the OS thread is stuff I can integrate into more setups, but isnāt exactly what I was looking for.
That Japanese setup was ex tatsu, 2 hit oroshi, whiff 3rd hit, backdash, whiff lk tatsu, j.hp kind of early. The j.hp hits non crossup, but if you do it correctly youāll land behind them, so it forces them to block 2 ways in a very short amount of time. I tested it on Ryu/Ken
Alright a friend of mine showed me the Japanese AE Frame Data guide and I read up on the specific frame changes on Sakura.
-cl.mp is +3 on block and +6 on hit.
-Both close and far lk is now +1 on block and +4 on hit. This was -1 on block and +2 on hit in Super.
-Far.rh is now +4 on hit as opposed to +2 on hit in Super.
-Recovery on Lvl 1 Hadoken is the SAME (48f) however recovery on Lvl 2 and 3 Hadoken is 56f and 64f respectively. In Super they were 60f and 72f recovery.
-Adding to the above point, Lvl 1 Hadoken remains -7 on block and -3 on hit. Lvl 2 and 3 Hadoken is -3 on block + 1 on hit, and +1 on block + 5 on hit respectively. In super they were all the same as Lvl 1 Hadoken.
Those were the only differences in frame data I could spot, so there could be more :wonder:. But the ones I found most significant is the change to her st.lk and cl.mp, her pressure is gonna be insane with these buffs. Also whats funny is, it lists here that her ex Hadoken is exactly the same as in super even the recovery so in other words the recovery of ex Hadoken is worse than her non ex ones haha. Also my theories on her sweep being faster just got crushed even recovery is the same⦠But to be honest I donāt know why I feel it is better in this game. Also I have some AE footage against a really good Yun, probably best Yun in Australia it shows me getting completely owned, Iād upload but Iād wanna get his permission first.
If there are any mistakes then I apologise in advanced but I think this guide is a reliable source, Iāll try test out these changes today to see if theyāre true.

The super frame data on the srk wiki is actually wrong. st.lk already has those stats. Try linking cr.hp after it, or doing st.lk, st.lk xx something, that wouldnāt work if it was only+2.
The cr.jab data on the wiki is also wrong.
Haha I completely forgot about the fact that her st.lk can link into each other. As for her crouch jab i think itās correct? Itās definitely not + 7 on hit cause I canāt link sweep. Or is it meant to be <+6 frames on hit?
Her lvl 1 hadoken is the same? Wow I though I noticed a difference in it. Well at least we have more frame advantage after lvl 3 meaty hado setup
cr.jab should be 1 frame worse than st.jab.

Hmm I really want to contribute something to the Sakura SRK boards but canāt really think of something.
Like I really love Sakura and the Sakura community and I want to try and show everyone that Sakura is not just some bottom tier trash. Iāve been looking around in some of the stickies and everything seems to be covered. But I just feel that some threads are a bit disorganized and lacking some important information.
I donāt really know how to explain it tbh
Who cares let her stay trash that way when you beat others, they are worse than this ātrashā haha. Oh and I donāt mean this to be an offensive comment just a joke.
