Recommendation on a 27" LCD

I need some help deciding between two monitors. Here are the Amazon links for each:
Dell S2740L: http://amzn.com/B009H0XQPA
BenQ GW2750HM: http://amzn.com/B007HSKSP0

Looking for pro’s cons, experiences, etc. Will be used for an FG/Game station.

Going off the following site

I have to choose the BenQ GW2750HM

This is assuming this is for Gaming right?
If its not then the thread out of topic for the board.

Doing a quick search on user reviews there have been a few complaints about the balance and how sturdy the stand is on the BenQ monitor since only made in plastic and the base is quite small, not sure if you consider it a factor.
The Dell monitor on the other hand have a very sturdy metal reinforced stand and base. It also includes a hole for cable management and have a very good on screen interface. I don’t know about the warranty that you get from BenQ but Dell have a very stellar policy.

tftcentral have a review of each monitor and it would seem that the Dell monitor is the better one overall, I advice that you check them out yourself since it’s very elaborate and includes picture of both the monitor stand and how the viewing angles are.

edit: might be worth noting that the Dell monitor have a built in 2 USB hub extension (powered) which opens up the option to hide/obscure the console and having two sticks connected to the monitor.

I own the BenQ 27" & have had zero complaints. I use it for spare setup, when i use my treadmill, & now its currently my desktop monitor. The only thing i wish it had was a remote, doing adjustments is pain w/ the buttons without lights.

Yeah, the subsequent post says “will be used for FG/Game Station”

I saw the Displaylag.com stuff, but it didn’t have the Dell rated, but tftcentral did, at 5ms display lag (one of the lowest), and the Dell is an IPS screen.

Though now I’ve found this one too:

Which is the LG 27EA33V, which is IPS and has 09ms lag according to the Displaylag.com site, for $50 cheaper than the Dell… so I might go with that one.
