Don’t be stupid. Arcade sticks are significantly more complicated than that shitty table your wife wasted her money on. You’re being intellectually dishonest and fooling no one.

It’s a trick question. You stole them.

I’m not stupid, nor am I being “intellectually dishonest,” as you state.

You say this because you’re knee-deep in a fighting games forum where it’s the norm to spend top dollar on sticks. Just because something is complicated, doesn’t justify a ridiculous price. It’s all relative…

Do I think it’s ridiculously overpriced? Yes.
Do I think it serves me well? Yes.
Do I think I deserve the amount of salt? Nope…
(I’m sure that many here would agree.)

You made the false equivalence, I was just calling you on it. You started us down this path. I’m glad the table is working out for you, but please don’t insult my any everyone else’s intelligence with such fallacies.

I didn’t bring anyone down a path. I posted pics of a table that I like to use while playing and I got shat on instantaneously. From two sides.

I’m not oblivious. I built TWO tek cases. I built a DIY wood case. I own two more Mad Catz commercial sticks.
That said though, I’ve encountered other people at my place who looked at my sticks, asked the prices I paid in materials and time and they’ve choked. I don’t care because I love what I have.

Done with this thread. The salt is clogging my tongue.

I think the acrylic stands are neat. Not 179 dollars neat, but still neat.

And while I didn’t steal them, I might as well have. 1 dollar.

Hey @jopamo i want to apologize. I was only making fun in jest. I honestly think that cart is cool, just find it crazy that it cost that much. Anyway, whats ur cfn so i can whoop dat ass (im being srs here tho)

Apology accepted. Just angry that my wife spent $180 on fucking bent plastic…for DIAPERS no less. Had to redeem that crap somehow.

Anyway, It’s all good… My CFN ID is jopamo, same as my Steam ID.

I understand why it’s expensive. Thick acrylic is 1. time consuming to cut 2. Expensive because its cast vs. extruded (clearer) and 3. requires expensive gear to work with it to bend it and get it just right. Being a saltwater aquarium guy: $179 for that thing is cheap compared to some of the beautiful and smaller acrylic aquariums I have built/seen.

In any case, I think its pretty bad ass looking and I am sure the clean look of it is why your wife bought it @jopamo - at least you were able to repurpose it easily and for something arguably 100% better than diaper storage

I just said the price was expensive and you seemed to get defensive about it. Don’t act like I just started attacking you.

Nah man, i can see why he was defensive. I said some pretty fucked up shit, so i dont blame him for being ticked. So lets stop derailing this thread and get back to topic.

Finally got my huge order from focus attack and paradise arcade. Cant wait to upgrade my 6 year old te stick.

Sounds good.

Thanks, @"Jasen Hicks"
I didn’t know that manufacturing this thing was so cost/labor intensive. Got a newfound respect for this table now (on top of what I had using it with my fightsticks).

Wait, what? How?
