I just bought two boxed agetecs, one for 33 ($50) and one for 26 ($40). Now, can I hide them from the Mrs, or should I concoct an elaborate story as to why we need them?
Hakko 850 rework tool for 100 bucks. It looks damn near brand new.
Not sure how long it lasts, but at the moment, they are giving 50% more store credit on trade-inâs at GS. Then add in Edge Card 10% as well. ME2 is almost an exact return value. With all the games coming out, Iâm jumping on this with ME2 and Darksiders trade inâs.
Went to a pawn shop and few other places looking for a decent keyboard to get me through until my hammond organ gets fixed and noticed 2 namco ps1 sticks. Needless to say I grabbed them without hesitation. $10 each. Today I go to a game store on the west side of town and find another one for $17.99. Got that and an Agetec Dreamcast stick for $20. I have no will power and my wife wasnât to happy at first
I opened up the namcoâs to check out the guts and one of the ones i got at the pawn shop has a Seimitsu LS-32-01 and Seimitsu screw in something buttons soldered to the pcb. The other two are stock parts as far as i can tell. This marks the first time iâve ever found a modded stick at a pawn shop or game store anywhere. Iâm proud. Pics coming as soon as i can get my camera working. NiteWalkerâs exact words: âfor $10 you commited robberyâ
Fucking epic, Iâd kill for a deal that good!

2 of the namcos. The seimitsu modded one i sold to a friend for $120 in cash a few hours ago
That is high price.
Laugh.
But you did make a lot of money from it.
Thatâs cool.
Namco is only worth like $25.
But because of SRK, price inflate.
They did sell for 6,090 ? retail back in 1996 though.
If anyoneâs looking for an agetec, thereâs one going here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DREAMCAST-ARCADE-STICK-OFFICIAL-BOXED_W0QQitemZ150416510484QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_VideoGames_VideoGameAccessories_VideoGameAccessories_JN?hash=item230585ce14
Now that I look there are quite a few on ebay.
Jesus you ripped him off! If that was the âfriendâ price I hate to see what you would have tried to get from a stranger
Just saw this PS1 Hori Fighting Stick⌠Itâs at $1 and 6 hours left on ebay. Itâs not my listing nor do I know the seller. I think after shipping and everything would be like $16. Not bad for someone wanting to mod it.
When I bought my pair of Namco arcade sticks back in 1996, they were selling for $15 at Wal-MartâŚ
(Of course, I no longer have those joysticks. Out of all the PS1 stuff I got rid of shortly after I bought my DC and moved to Florida, I regretted selling those for a while because I knew they were compatible with PS2. At the time, I had no idea I wouldnât get a PS2 until 2004 and sold the sticks back in late '99/early 2000âŚ)
I never saw any joystick of that era sell for more than $30 in-store. Joysticks just didnât sell and the Babbages/Wal-Mart/Toys 'R Us/Software Etc. had to mark them down to get of the stock!
I remember paying $10 for my Sega Saturn Hori Fighting Stick SS at a local Software Etc. in 1997!
The quality of the mass market pro-level Hori and MC sticks way exceeds mid-late 1990s joysticks. Other than the Namco, the Agetec DC stick was really the best quality you could buy prior to the arrival of the Hori RAP series. Those didnât make their official American debut until the RAP 3 as far as I knowâŚ
I have the same exact stick. How would you mod it?
I wasnât too sure on how to mod it so I just left it aside ._.
He offered it. Part of the money is going to be for me to do an all sanwa mod on it +artwork and pexi. Not sure how much iâll have left after that. hopefully enough to put a universal pcb in the agetec.
Might get this since itâs cheaper than other sites. The guy put a new square gate in, yellow meshball, seimitsu pearl buttons. $76 shipped
I bought the full kit of The Beatles Rockband today at Target for $62. It was marked down from $250. I am not really a âRockbandâ kind of guy. I hope I can do the equivalent of Beatles karaoke with it. I suck horribly at Guitar Hero.
Just got of Glyde, the 360 Backwards compatable Street Fighter Anniversary collection. now I can play 3 on my 360!
soon xbox is taking off backwards compatable on old xbox games for online anyway
