Recent Purchases and Good Finds

Just copped a Madcatz Alpha for $37.46 USD off of an Amazon Warehouse Deal (People are still trying to sell these in Canada for the equivalent of $93 USD lol). Looking forward to pairing it up with a Phreakmods Link and putting in some spare Sanwa parts I have lying around for a super portable stick. Just gotta until the New Year when my friend can get the stick to me.

There is a sale on OSSC units

Very nice, too bad the little monitors arenā€™t used in WWE anymore, I always loved seeing those getting tossed around, good times.

If youā€™re ever looking to let go of one of the 14s, Iā€™m your man!

Edit: Damn it DS, let me breathā€¦

So awesome recent find.

Got a PC Engine Avenue Pad 6 from ebay for $25 Shipped, as Junk, Broken for repair or parts.

Picked up 3 sticks recently on ebay for a solid price.
Mad Catz TES White Artwork - $60
Qanba Q4RAF Ice Blue - $58
Mad Catz SE and Mayflash Universal Adapter - $35

All of them worked so Iā€™m happy. Like two days ago Ebay did a 20% off everything sale which I sadly missed out on.

Howā€™s that Mayflash adapter?

Havenā€™t tested it much, but right now itā€™s fine. I only used it on the PS3 to see if 360 sticks works and they do. PS1 controllers donā€™t work however. Also I tested to see if a 360 stick would work on PS2 games for the PS3 and it didnā€™t. I havenā€™t tested anything for the 360 yet or Xbone (I donā€™t own one) or the PC. Apparently it works for the PS4, but I donā€™t own one so I canā€™t test that. I havenā€™t tested it much, maybe in the coming week Iā€™ll play with it some more.

Got a Tiny Arcade Key Chain
Picked up the Pac-man Tiny Arcade Cab

Here a picture I pulled as I too lazy to photograph at the moment.

It runs a full version of the original 1980s game.
My only complaint is the screen resolution is less than the actual game graphics, so the sprites are slightly blurred.

Whole thing fits into my hand and takes 3 AAA batteries.

And yes I am going to later hack this thing, as there 3 other versions of the Tiny Arcade, and the only difference is which jumper is soldered on the PCB inside. Why made 4 different boards, when you can make one with a jumper to set which rom is being used.

As long as the postal service doesnā€™t mess anything up, soon Iā€™ll have a TE2+. And I only paid $33 for it (plus $15 shipping). Showed those early bidders their place. It has some pcb issues, but at this point. What TE2+ doesnā€™t have pcb issues?

Update to my previous post. Got the TE2+ in the mail and besides the box, everything looked in great condition, practically new. I tested it on PC and it works perfectly fine. The description said something that ā€œit powers on, but doesnā€™t work once in gameā€. I donā€™t own a PS4 so Iā€™ll have to call up one of my friends to test it and Iā€™m too lazy to set up my PS3 to see if it works there. Iā€™m happy with the purchase, even if it didnā€™t work I would still be satisfied. Hereā€™s some photos.

Instead of making bank on eBay, Iā€™d rather hit up the people who own a TE/TES+ who want different colored bezels that arenā€™t the ones available on Amazon. A site called ā€œHyperMicroā€ (aka LegendMicro) has Dark Blue, Clear, Pink, White, and ā€œVermilionā€ (plus all the ones on Amazon).

It took like 4 days to get to me (East Coast). Free shipping. However Iā€™ve read some reviews that said shipping with Fedex does cost something and Iā€™m not sure about international shipping. Iā€™m guessing this is old stock because some of the protection bags were pretty dirty. I donā€™t know know how much they still have in stock so order sooner than later. Iā€™ll talk about each of them a bit,

Clear - Itā€™s clear, probably looks cool with some LEDs behind it.

ā€œVermilionā€ - This is just the stock TE bezel so I donā€™t recommend buying it. I thought the stock bezel was ā€œredā€, but I guess Iā€™m wrong. Iā€™ll probably keep it to test out spray painting.

Dark Blue - Not the same ā€œdark blueā€ as Sanwa buttons. Itā€™s more of a navy color. I put my cyan bezel under it so youā€™ll see the color difference. The site uses the TE2 bezel picture, but know itā€™s just the TE bezel.

White - Itā€™s white, mine came a little dirty, but some minor cleaning will fix it. Itā€™s on the mounting side anyways so not much of an issue. Itā€™s a little lighter than my TE side panels, but that might be due to sun fading.

Pink - Itā€™s pink, matches perfectly with the pink side panels.

Hopefully this helps someone, if you still have any questions just @ me, and Iā€™ll try to answer it. Still on my quest to find TE2 bezels and side panels. Someone can post this on redditā€™s /r/fightsticks if they want to.

What TE2 side panels and bezel colors are you looking for? I have a red bezel and both black and red side panels Iā€™d be willing to part with. Let me know.

Looking for either a white or navy blue te2 bezel, I donā€™t really need side panels since the stock white ones are good enough. Iā€™ll probably just spray paint the stock red bezel. Thanks for the offer.

Wrong thread for that.

This is the thread for stiff people found and any deals and savings.

You want to post in the trading post.

If youā€™re still looking for a new MadCatz TE2+ PS3/PS4 Joystick:

Recently picked up a stick I had been eyeing for a long time. Ps3 hori gundam VS fightstick. I think I got a killer deal. Auction stated it was new but I think it was barely used. Iā€™m still happy for 100 shipped to get this. I think sellers typo helped me get the deal so low.
