Sagat is in a tier all by himself. Sagat only has 4 or maybe 5 even match-ups(Seth, Viper, Dhalsim, maybe Gouken) and the rest are clearly in his favor. He has zero bad match-ups. He has 6 or 7 3-7 match-ups that are really in his favor. It is obvious when the top 10 Japanese players list has 50% or more Sagat players.
I am not ranting or anything I just don’t understand why it is that people deny it.
seems to me like Sagat players kinda relish on the fact that this dude is top tier.

Dan was buffed to become God-tier, and Sagat was nerfed to be the weakest fighter in the game.
Would he have so many dedicated players? Nope. Most sagat players play him simply because they have a higher win rate with him than other characters.
