nah but seriously good job, personally though i’m a fan of solo combos over assisted one but that’s how I Roll.

assistless i was getting 820k something…thats good right?
I’d like to see that, since the basic Nemesis BnB is around 770k. There is one solo combo that goes to 836,000 and its the strongest assistless 1 meter combo, no XF.
id like to see the 836k one myself!

820,600k damage
as I thought, it is a situational combo that requires mid-screen into corner. It seems the only way for Nemesis to get past his 770k barrier is Clocket H Regardless that kind of damage is always welcome.
even though its a corner combo, and situational on smaller hitbox characters, still, nice job.
I guess the reason it does such good damage is because it’s almost wholly made of H’s and S’s XD
How to play Nemesis
press H and S
win.
no OWA, you’re confusing us with the Ammy thread
we use M’s sometimes too
and wildly flailing tentacles!

what kind of damage is everyone getting off relaunch combos and one meter (include assists if used?)
im using two very different combos execution wise but the idea is the same!
in the corner with both assists and one hyper ive been getting -
nova assist (b) 1st, spencer assist (y) 2nd, much easier combo to pull off, opponent does not touch the ground (technically.) works on entire cast, might be new go to relaunch bnb!
off command grab
692,700k (optimized for meter)
717,700k (optimized for damage)
off a cr.:l: (at its most basic)
735,300k (optimized for meter)
763,600k (optimized for damage) spencer assist not used
off a cr.:l: (with :dp: thrown in)
775,500k (optimized for meter)
800,600k (optimized for damage) spencer assist not used
most damaging variants
844,400k (optimized for meter) spencer assist not used
857,100k (optimized for damage) spencer assist not used
spencer assist (y) 1st, nova assist (b) second. way harder due to requirements such as cr.:h: (necessary for consistency with spacing,) a TK j.:qcf::s:, opponent gets hit by hard knockdown j.:s: in the middle of the combo. character specific!
off command grab
735,000k (optimized for meter)
746,600k (optimized for damage)
off a cr.:l: (at its most basic)
791,200k (optimized for meter)
805,400k (optimized for damage)
off a cr.:l: (with :dp: thrown in)
827,300k (optimized for meter)
838,900k (optimized for damage)
most damaging variants
884,700k (optimized for meter)
896,500k (optimized for damage)
EDIT - some damage values were incorrect.
what’s a combo? all i have is reset setups
Silly harley his resets are his combos!
Lol @ ToD Resets.
Been screwing around with BWA to Powerup super some more. There’s enough time to tag Nemesis back in and land an OTG Rocket, but this is hard. A simpler solution involves Wesker or an OTG assist. Food for combo thought
after further exploration with relaunch combos using different starters and pushing maximum damage with maximum hit-stun deterioration ive managed 933,300k for one hyper.
corner combo - j.:h:, :h:, :a1: (spencer assist y,) :qcf::s:, :h:, :dp:, :s: w/:a2: (nova assist b,) j.:s:, j.:h:, cr.:h:, :qcf::s:, :dp::atk::atk:
I’m having difficulty making Medium Tentacle slam connect after doing a Light Rocket Slam, can anyone give me some advice?
Spacing for one. I also know that you have to at least wait for them to fall a little bit. There are better resets out there, so look into those too
If they back tech, you have to dash forward then Tentacle Slam M, if they front tech you have to tentacle slam H. If its neutral tech you have to wait a bit, then slam them. I wouldnt recommend this against someone with an air dash.
ditto what Gil and OWA said.
L RL slam was considered a good reset tool early on, but after the past few months of Reset tech, it’s been completely overshadowed. basically, you still have to guess when using RL slam L, or have GODLIKE reflexes. His other resets are so tight, they can be counted on like regular combos.
rocket slam L IS a good reset tool… just not when compared to the other resets nemesis has.
are you familiar with some of his other resets? if not, we can fill you in.
