jH, crM, sH, RLSlam M, crM, sH, CLRocket H, crH, S, sjM,M,H,S,(WeskerOTG), crH, QCF+S xx Biohazard Rush(DP ATK+ATK)

As for assists I Run Vergil/Rapid Slash & Wesker/Samurai Edge.

Again, Nemesis can reset anyone from anywhere without assists. Try this in the corner for a reset: cL cM sH DP+M sL sM sH F+H Slam. Works on everyone and keeps them in the corner. This same reset also works anywhere onscreen if you omit the second sH. Should grab all techs if you time it well.

If you are going for resets, here’s another one you can try that’s most effective mid screen:
cL, cM, sH, DP M, cM, sH, QCF L, dash, jM, jM, jH, land & back dash, HCB M.

It’s a pretty sneaky set up cause at first it looks like a dropped combo. And of course there’s the good ol reset loop in the corner:
cL, cM, sH, DP M, cM, cH, DP L, HCB H.

If that connects, just repeat the cM, cH, DP L, HCB H. It catches all techs if timed and spaced right, but like with any variation, the spacing and timing vary depending on the characters hitbox size.

Another beauty about the DP L variation in the corner that they are also more open to just a normal air throw. So if you wanna mix in a normal air throw and land one, you could do:
air throw into the corner, jM, jM, jH, S, jM, jM, jH, sH, QCF L, sH, S, jM, jM, jH, S, QCF 2xATK.

That’s what I do from an air throw at the right height with Nem solo, but Im gonna lab up and see if I can find a different one that does good damage & keeps them in the corner.

Keep in mind that these resets are excluding characters with double jumps or flight.

I’d try to avoid dashback resets. They’re much more prone to messing up than others.

The reset loop JDog descibes should be cut in half, replace DP+M with DP+L and then HCB+H. DP+L scales in hitstun like any other move, and Nemesis has to recover quick enough to do HCB+H instead of a cancel. Besides, it’s a loop, so extra steps tend to be less important.

Hrm…don’t change your team, Wesker and Vergil sounds badass, otgs also give Nemmy better conversions off straight-up launchers. And Vergil can lock down pretty nicely if they’re closer to the corner than you are. And Wesker, despite FChamp’s little tierlist, is still quite good. Still useful things, otg assists. Secondly, that combo definitely does more than 730k.

For resets, listen to them. They reset a lot more than I do, and they’re better at it (TACs spoil me, heh). JDog’s mentioning a lot of the standards, Gil’s got the untechable dirty stuff, but it requires some training to get the timing perfect, but the basic stuff and the resets with Wesker’s otg assist are really reliable. You got this.

I honestly never knew his resets were so sexy. Just got done watching OnlyWingedAngel’s Nemesis tutorial and everything I’ve read and watched today seems like he can body the cast with hesitation. Only thing I gotta work on now is defense.

Yeah OWA is pretty sick, though he hasn’t really been playing Mahvel lately. Lots of TTT2! :stuck_out_tongue: It was actually his tutorials that got me to pick up Nemesis in the first place.

Got some serious sessions on with a friend last night. Needless to say he was 10 wins away from me but I put all of everyone’s tips too good use. He was surprised when I hit him with resets w/ Wesker. Guess he was expecting it. My defense is still sjit tier though.

Yeah connecting the rocket portion of QCF H is character size specific. It’ll connect on most big characters with a few exceptions, medium sized characters with a few exceptions, and even certain small characters. The best bet is to hit the lab and test on all characters and just memorize who it can work on.

For those that are lazy to find lab time, I have my results on the Rocket H:

Whiffs no matter where:
Firebrand, Arthur, Da 'Coon

Whiffs if Nemmy starts combo closer than 3/4 screen to edge:
Deadpool, Dorm, Wolverine, Wesker, Storm, Thor, Magnus, the Brothers

Works wherever… well, 3/4 screen to edge and in the corner:
Everyone else

Nem/Dorm/Strange combos, everybuddy!

backthrow into corner: st.LM cr.H DP+M, cr.M st.H S and bolts, j.H j.QCF+S, land, cr.H QCF+S DP+Super, DHC to stalking flare, charge red charge blue, meteors, flame carpet before they touch the floor and Nemesis assist call, fH fH dark hole Chaotic Flame, 1.05 mill, more with a snap, st.L or st.M at the end.

Regular bnbs with the bolts juggle into that also do about the same damage before the chaotic flame. example: j.MS j.MMH cr.Mst.H QCF+L st.H S and bolts j.H j.QCF+S cr.H QCF+S DP+Super, DHC, charge red charge blue, meteors, flame carpet and launcher slam, fH dark hole does 1.09 mill before the chaotic flame, kills Thor afterward.

I forgot Nem’s DP super resets the ground bounce and set up stalking flare juggles. Who needs to use dark hole in Nemesis combos when you can use Launcher Slam in Dormammu’s? :smiley:

The biggest problem with the Nem/Dorm pair is not actually a problem, as long as that last assist can set up DP+Super. I’m currently looking for the most damaging results from Nemesis confirms off of Bolts, but all I have is TAC and then THC, which is pretty good, but inefficient.

Saw a combo video using the same characters & I loved every minute of it. I just wish I had the patience to learn to use Strange.

not that its important or useful but nemmy can land j.:m:, j.:s:, :h:, :qcf::l:, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:qcf::s:, :s:, j.:h:, j.:s:, :qcf::atk::atk:.

pretty decent for the confirm and not using his other clockets!

A few things. 1. Strange might not be the only anchor able to do that. Sentinel would probly work, there are also many ways to set up a DP+Super either with a combo that doesn’t launch. Or an otg assist, if that’s what you’re into. Problem is Nem/Dorm/Wesker is lacking in neutral, though I could see it being decent with rocket assist, though that doesn’t even need the ground bounce to extend with. And motion made a pretty sick list of stuff that combos a jumping rocket into other stuff.

  1. That combo video might’ve been me, actually, lol. If it was Nem/Dorm/Strange, and on SRK’s front page, that was me. That’s an old one, I was actually thinking of making an updated combovid, but I keep revealing all my new tech not in big-cool-video form (here and in other shorter videos).

If I do make another Nemmy combo video, using this with bolts extension, maybe into a Vergily thing that abuses the reset groundbounce. Or something like that, OOOH, or I can do something like DHC to swords, lunar phase, lunar phase, lunar phase and call launcher slam, lunar phase, high time, super…that sounds hilarious, I love it. Thanks, man!

Edit: Shit, the Vergil thing doesn’t seem to be working with launcher slam assist. Darn, thought ir worked with any ground bounce assist. :C

Next Nem video I make, which is just in the thinky stage, Nemesis/Modok/Someone may show up with that combo. I might try to be creative and find another assist to turn the s.S into a cr.H QCF+S, bolts is gonna be in a lot of them as it is.
