My last sentence was a complete sentence. Unless retaliatory beheadings to settle grudges are a Turkish custom I’m unaware of, something is missing from the story, or this woman is completely insane.

Usually I’m not one to advocate murder, but this is one of those situations that I can really empathize with. The emotional torture from being sexually assaulted can be extremely intense for some individuals. I myself have never been raped, but I’ve had similar experiences and that was enough to make me struggle with a strong desire for vengeance.

I like Havatchu’s comment about sexual cannibalism, and I would further add that it’s a kind of emotional murder, greatly altering how people feel and perceive the world around them. Most people never get their sense of trust and security completely back, and are haunted with nightmares and flashbacks for the rest of their life.

From a mental and physiological level, raped people have the most in common with war veterans. Which tells you a lot IMO about how much it fucks you up.

Thanks, I personally consider rape worse then murder, many don’t agree with me, but it’s how I feel.

The way I think of it, you unmake someone when you rape them. You are in complete control of their identity, murder is the end of identity, therefore ending an identity is less worse then totally violating someone’s identity. I do understand that not everyone is totally fucked mentally from being raped and in that instance being killed wouldn’t be as bad, but I am more defensive of the dignity of other human beings then I feel I should be sometimes.

I suspect there is a high correlation with people with Multiple Personality Disorder and rape, every video I’ve seen on it implied it was usually what causes that particular disorder.
