I’ve never played KOF online, but I heard that it bites. In fact, I hear that SNk isn’t really good with online play, but that’s what I’ve be hearing.
You must be talking about the ps2/360 ports’ online play. Those are not good at all, we’re talking about GGPO. Online KOF play from your computer.

Go on 2df and you can watch replays of any match he plays there.
Man I know I’m probably one of the people you are referencing. I know I’m really not that good but if me or anybody else are that bad and speak English, couldn’t you just give a little advice. Making a big topic is worse because it’s like you being an elitist or something.
Then ask him for advice. Simple as that. I ask him for info and advice on several occasions. Problem is with a lot of players is that they just want to do whatever and win. When that doesn’t work out they get angry and ragequit and/or spew insults. Kinda makes it a bitch to be an outgoing person about things.
The problem is KOF players online play KOF like it is Street Fighter.
I don’t! Even when I do play sf2 the only one I play, I realize how hideous it is and how much more I like kof. I actually try to implement mind games, when I play and if everyone counters them I need to improve I guess. Only mistake I make is rolling and sometimes I find it hard to hop with a controller. Other than that I just want to improve my game. Oh and also take into consideration that I’m American and no one likes kof that much here.
Hey Emil, you should turn your great knowledge to SFIV. You would make a great SFIV player.
Maybe you can compete with the top players with some practice.
As for KOF, Emil is very arrogant(as indicated by post) but he is a good player but I am bad at KOF though.

emil the" little asian dick sucker"( that probably moved from japan or china to canada) now states , defends and promotes that asian players are born with kof playing skills, doctors ( as opposed to the rest of the world new borns) now handle kof games and a ps2 controller to newborns so they can make their first cry. All these because, for him only asians are “good players”, but players with all the mistakes he mentions in that wonderful “essay” just doesn’t exist in asia, asia is a scrub -free territory. So makes me wonder :
1 if he dislikes other non japanese players and are not worthy of his wonderful skills, why does he continues to give them the honor of playing against him?.

3. why does he has footage , videos of great asian players but NON of that is of him playing?

Emil may come off as a dick sometimes, but you do realize that you could just challenge him and he will play you. People like you make me sick. Emil gets on my nerves (it’s probably due to I can’t win :sad:). But he does try to help people that want to get better at the game (gameplay advice and always willing to play).

My only complaint about Emil is that he should go to more offline tournaments. But I suppose he has his reasons for not doing so. And the “good” kof game isn’t out yet (even though 2k2UMTver. IS OUT =/ )…KOF XIII. So we’ll see what happens in the future.
Bottom line in this thread, that appears to me: there are people who wanna get good at kof and those that don’t. Which side are u on? And how long can one tolerate the laziness and lack of quality play?
