I agree mostly with this, but I’d say for higher level players who are good at parrying, SAII is probably on-par with SAI, simply because any standing parry -> SAII = massive damage.
Don’t let my sig fool you, I’m not very good with Remy, I just like SAII.
my preference, however, is Rocket Uppercut. it’s basically for one reason, that being Rocket will still hit for full damage off of a max range towards + roundhouse overhead. Corkscrew, on the other hand, while it still will hit, the first and most damaging hit will miss from a max range overhead. no point in using the super for the other 4 hits, yeah?
concerning anti-airing with either SA, or cancelling from a juggle or s. roundhouse -> strong Jet xx super, Corkscrew has the better hit rate. Rocket tends to spit the opponent the other way if the angle or height of the opponent’s sprite is off. or if they’re Alex, Remy or Chun-Li. the 3 aforementioned tend to go the other way regardless if you use s. roundhouse -> strong Jet xx Rocket.
both supers are great punishers. 2 frame start up, some invincible frames, pretty good priority, etc. they’re both able to reverse Shoto c. forwards, but it’s not of much use since you’re not really gonna get hit by a point blank c. forward by a good Shoto player . you can use Rolling Thunder for that :wgrin:.
regarding safety, i consider Rocket and Corkscrew the same on the ground, because as you mentioned, you’re only really gonna use the super after a hit confirm, which Dudley has a ton of.
