I bought Saber’s book a long time ago and I’m currently re-reading it. So I came up with a silly idea one night when I was bored out of my mind. I google map’d this and saved a screenshot of it. Took me a whole 5 minutes to find it. The Saber Mural on the LA River:

I’m not sure how long after he completed the piece, a famous NYC writer by the name of “JA” came to LA to diss it. The 1st pic was when Saber finished it, the 2nd was when “JA” destroyed it and the 3rd was after Saber re-painted it. Oh, and to give you an idea on how big it is, That’s Saber sitting in the middle of the “B”:

For the fame mostly. I don’t think it was about hate… well, maybe a little bit but I believe that it was to let Saber know that he wasn’t untouchable. Saber is one of the most reknown writers from the west coast while JA is a legend in NY for bombing.
