The fact that it is from 9GAG makes it even more likely to be false.Sticking it to a girlfriend just seems like something alot of those “dogged nice guys” would make up.They have a “girls are so stupid” image all the fucking time.It used to be funny,but it got old and pathetic fast.

Growing up in the 80s I remembered a Spiderman issue which I am positive was the inspiration for Maximum Spider. I was from a well known issue in the series because it is one of Spidey’s biggest battles and one of the best examples of just how powerful Spiderman actually is. For those who do not know who this is he is beating up, it is Firelord. It would be like Spiderman beating up Silver Surfer (both being Heralds of Galactus, and both being able to go toe-to-toe with the Fantastic Four or The Avengers as a team. Spiderman beat him on his own.
