Trying hard? I feel the opposite, unlike the 90s, the writers don’t snicker whenever something remotely sexual is mentioned, it is simply apart of it (except for Robotomy). Adventure Time has no issue bringing up sexual things in a casual way, and sees no quarrel with such things. If this was a 90s cartoon it would be so incredibly overdone and turned into a joke. Yes heffer, we get it, he’s naked.
Also before someone disses My Little Pony, it’s made by the wife of the guy who made Powderpuff Girls, and she was always involved in his shows, either on the art or the writing. It shows too, surprisingly quality show, My little pony.

Oh my god those are the best of that type I’ve seen, maybe only rivaled by Smugleaf.
