Different variations, same symbol though. Also this Venom thing is pretty old by now, as are the Deadpool references, you can find both everywhere. Short story is: Venom symbiote is taken off Mac by the U.S. Government, they think they can control it as a weapon against their enemies so enlist Flash Thompson to wear the suit and do work for them as a Soldier (He has a past military career, and ties into the Spidey mythos).
The design isn’t particularly…innovative, but it has a military-esque look and the creative team warrants at least a first issue pick-up.

Dear god I was hoping nobody would find that. I’ve known about this new venom for months but have been shrugging off hoping that it was just speculation or concept art. But apparently the symbiote can only attach himself to the new host 20 times and a limited time for each one so we’ll only be seeing him for this one shot series. For now I’m content with Anti-Venom and Carnage coming back so this is just something I wont have much interest in
How is Carnage coming back? Last I knew of the character he was torn in half by the Sentry. Exactly how many people did the Sentry tear apart anyway?
Cletus gets dead, the symbiote survives. A lady gets forcfully bonded to it and boom, new Carnage.
Also,
I’m not exactly sure sense I’ve only read the first issue.
But something along the lines of pieces of him were still left over and scientists have been preserving him and using him to make some symbiote/ironman hybrid armor.
It always made sense to me because of the close relation to Spiderman, but as far as I’m aware this new Venom has nothing to do with him. Anyway, to be honest I won’t be reading it.
