As I was telling other people, last night was the longest ST session I’ve ever had that wasn’t at a tournament. And it was on a cabinet. And it was glorious.
I completely forgot that Dan had a ST board. In fact, I think it’s the same board that I played my first arcade ST tournament on back in '07 or '08, where I met thrust07 and Battosai for the first time. Now Ram doesn’t have cabinets anymore and EVO is done with SF2.
Goddamn, why the hell do I feel so old? Anyway, I just had to make this post and say that being able to counter Honda’s buttslam with Sim b+strong on-reaction put a big smile on my face.
