Curious why Marvel isn’t on DC? I’ll be entering either way but it seems Marvel won’t be big enough that 2 DCs on hand couldn’t do the job. We’re coming just for Sunday so I can even bring mine, haha. Thanks for doing all this stuff Webster.

No I will not be able to be present at this tournament. I have some tournament events I have to attend to myself, such as Kula vs. CD. Juarez in Juarez, Mexico this month and others I have to plan/prepare for, with Webster’s assistance we are able to double up on the amount of tournaments we are able to do.

Also wanted to say special thanks to Osirun for allowing LDA Inc. to work together with PowerUp! Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

It’s fine with me if the game is run. That’ll be it for additional games though, at least ones that will be added onto the official sign-up sheet for PU2010. Try to make this game run on Saturday for $5 if possible, cuz that’s the only spot left open on the sign-up sheet’s game side XD

Any other additional tournaments will have to be run without being on the official sign-up sheet or pre-registration page. Once all the details for SamSho Sen are finalized just let me know and I’ll add it in.

Thanks, Osirun and Webster. I haven’t picked the game up yet, but what I know now is that the game is for the xbox 360 only, which I can provide. I figured since it came out unannounced, not too many people knew about it and I wondered how it would fare at a tourney. I will pick the game up this week, try it out, and provide the rules within the next few days. I’m currently making plans to make it out there, now. I’ve never been to Ohio before so I’m kind of excited to come out and meet you guys and have some fun.

PRE-REG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Anyone who pre-registers during the March 1st - May 24th time frame will be the ONLY PEOPLE entered into the QCF Gaming complete arcade stick raffle. LuckyDay is going to be providing us with a really great looking case, and has also agreed to wire it all up (details on PS3 or 360, or a dual mod, will come later) so you don’t have to finish the stick yourself. The buttons will be Sanwa and the stick will be a Sanwa JLF. Pictures will be coming soon! The raffle for the QCF Gaming arcade stick is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th.

daaamn… that was like almost a year ago man… ah, memories… y’know my car is still impounded in villa park… but yeah me and the team will be here, we’re trying to coax our chitown teammate to come with us for 3v3… and with the addition of raging storm it looks like imma be competing every second of this particular weekend… increase the hypeness by adding in my birthday on the 26th and that’s my story to tell my grandkids…

I just picked up SamSho Sen. It’s alright and it kind of plays like Soul Calibur now. I’ve provided some rules for the Sen tourney. I will provide the console and the game. Let me know if this is ok.

Samurai Shodown Sen (xbox 360)

  • $5 entry fee
  • double elimination tournament
  • default time
  • 2/3 games for winners and losers brackets
  • 3/5 games for winners, losers, and grand finals
  • winner must keep the same character, loser however can change
  • Draco and Golba are definitely BANNED (They probably won’t be unlocked yet.)
