I agree that we need to have a venue nailed down. I’ve been trying to work with Dark Geese on the place we used for other stuff, but based on the number of Smash players he said you were talking about, that place might not work. I don’t know where things are at though. He was supposed to give a call to the person at that location to figure things about a month ago and I haven’t heard that he’s done so.

So is there any word on the venue? The event was announced 2 months ago and there’s less then 2 months until its upposed to go off and still no word. Is anyone looking into this? Is there more assistance that is needed to secure a spot?

We have a room reserved and Dark Geese was supposed to finalize the room this week. I just sent him an email to check on where he’s at with things. I’d like to get things finalized as well so we can start building hype. As far as I know, the only thing that needs to be done yet for the room is to sign a sheet saying that we’re aware of the rules, etc. and provide payment info.

The Itasca Room in the Ramada Plaza Minneapolis is where this will be and this event is only for April 17th.

Thanks for confirming. This is the same hotel where we’ve done the MN Meltdown events. It’s in a different room this time, which is a good deal larger than the previous rooms we used.
