Hmm, I really want to try and make it to Devestation/Raging Storm so I can check it out/watch/help out how i can. I need prices and stuff though so I can think it over, try and plan it, and whatnot.

I also wanted to ask do we just get the SNK badge to enter the SNK stuff only? or do we need to register and get the badge?
You get the SNK badge if you want to enter SNK stuff only. Also cheer up Noc, remember this is “just the beginning!” In other words it’ll be a lot easier to make this all work next year due to a “certain game” being on console.
EDIT: Due to unforseen circumstances with my aunt passing away this past weekend, I have no other choice but to adjust the pots for 98UM and 2k2UM to $350 for bonus pots.
Everything else stays the same.

I hope everyone has been practicing, it’s just around the corner now. I’ll be bringing an extra TV and an extra PS2 from Giby (hopefully). My Ps2 is broken :sad:. If anything I can bring my Neogeo MVS setup but I only have 1 converter for it for PSX/PS2 stick/pads. I’ll see if I can get another converter for it before the event. I have these MVS carts: kof98, kof2k2, MOTW, RB2, LB2, Karnov’s Revenge aka Fighter’s History Dynamite for the event. I have 1 Neogeo AES stick and 1 Hori Neogeo Stick as well for it. If anything I can just bring my xbox with 2 magic box converters but I know MAS sticks are no good on those converters. Whatever you guys think is the better solution for what I should bring let me know. Another issue is I can’t record directly from the MVS setup I have the Pinnacle recorder I have doesn’t record from it at all. Until then keep practicing and I’ll see you all at Devestation.

I’ll be ready to go once it hits, just need to find out what you all think I should bring to AZ. If we go the MVS route it will be arcade perfect and I will have the extra converter by then. I wont be able to do direct recording from it unless I figure out an different method of doing it. If I use the xbox setup then I can record from it directly with no probs. I just found a converter on ebay so I’ll have 2 converters for the event so everyone is covered. Unless someone can bring another PS2 I think we should be set hopefully.
Let me think this through man because I can use my camcorder to film matches on the fly and transfer it to my laptop and keep repeating the process. Let me think about this then I’ll be sure to get back to you.

Me and Giby are going to do some test to try gettign the MVS to record directly somehow. If it all works out then we should be all set with that setup. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it turns out.
