Heads up, ignorance and stupidity are two entirely separate things (for future reference and continued posting, because I love what you have to say and can’t resist replying to rage quitters etc etc). You used them interchangeably in the last part there and that is something I always love to do as well. Best post on the page. Personally, i haven’t found a situation where i really care about ragequitters…but i guess i don’t play championship mode all that much. If you were going to win the championship and then had to do it over again and lost maybe i could see room for complaint, but i’m really not playing for the points in any mode

Pretty much, yeah. While it does feel awesome to win a tournament, the main reason why I enjoy being in G2 is that I’m getting mainly opponents who are roughly as good or better than myself. Earlier, the disconnect bug kept me from playing, since it would raise MY d/c percentage, but now that it seems to be fixed, it’s just much more fun than playing Ranked.

Mind you, given how long it sometimes takes to find an opponent once you reach the semifinals and finals, my only reason to really get annoyed with ragequitters is that you once more have to go through that process.

On the other hand, getting ragequit on in the finals means that your next fight has a better chance of being against someone good. Hmmmm.

I’ll put myself up on the wall, I raged quit about 10 or so times today after an utter beatdown this weekend. First time I’ve done it since SFIV first came out on the PC and I was getting frustrated by the flowchart Kens.

You just get discouraged after a while. I lost over 30 matches today, won 3 and the same goes for yesterday with my 20-2 matchup. I’ve been playing the game since launch, built a custom arcade stick just for this game, and still end up getting owned. I should just quit the game altogether already.

well I finally got my first ragequit and I happened to have it recorded too. I Had just recently modded a stick for the xbox but had no games to test it on. Luckily one of my friends had sf4 for the xbox and was willing to loan it to me to test my stick on. So after unlocking all the characters I wanted to check out how the game played on XBL and joined any game I could find and I got this dude
