It seems that G1 is polarized…split between talentless grinders/cheaters and the few really talented players out there.
I’m still in G2, I haven’t been in ANY rush to get into G1…its hard enough to find playable matches in G2…I know its going to get worse in G1 for sure.

Same here… I’m going about it at a slow, methodical pace. Gonna reach 9000 GP soon, then only 1K left to reach G2-A. But my Akuma is loads better than when I started. I figure by the time I reach G1, I’ll actually be worth some competition to that tier of SF players.
Was doing a DR on him cuz he stopped moving with Akuma.

Man I feel the same way. I just started playing champ mode again and just reached reached G2. I seem to get better and better with each game but it is loaded with Ryus and Kens but what the hey fun times.

Played him once in g1 championship. My Rose, his Ryu. I trounced him in the first round. Start of the second he disconnects.
Txtd him to call him a rage quitting *** and he claims he didn’t disconnect.
Played him again just now in g1 round 3. Again, trounced him in the first he quits in the second.

One more thing I am not impressed with the level of competition in the G1 Arena it’s almost the same as the G3 Level very easy to climb Up the ladder.
