In essence, DarkSith (Nicad’s alt) is a cheat. He either records and plays back the inputs, or done something screwy to make the game desync horrendously.
This was naturally the same match. Same disconnection time.
But there’s a few things to note here:
I’d won the first round on my end. This is the biggest difference.
At about :30 in the ‘video proof’, I start doing things no sane Gouken would. Full screen throw whiffs? Really?
I never saw a Super come out. Notice he had full meter in my image. (one nice thing about PC version is you can just PrintScreen right when a quit happens and save it off as PNG, so expect AE images from PC players)
@Tiberious. I can sort of see where you are coming from. Except. You are asking people to believe your picture ( which are easily edited) over his video ( which in many cases are time consuming and harder to edit ). I am just stating fact. I am not with you are against you. I know you are a decent gouken player. I played you, before selling my copy of SF4. I just find it hard to swallow. Did you talk to Nic at all about it? I know when I used to play. I would send a message asking if they quit or if something happened.
Does SFIV: Volt count? Just played a guy named Umi-Q. Disconnects happen all the time with this game, but this one especially great because his player card says “Sagat/Akuma players are f------- losers.” and his tagline is “You spam, I quit.” For the record, he played a Ken that spammed shoryukens, and has dropped 13 out of his last 20 matches. Awesome.
