I think I royally pissed off SW Syd in ranked. He was Honda and I was Barlog and in the final round, I made an epic comeback and won. Also got an immediate rage quit.

And I’m pretty sure your Guile has beaten my Hawk like once or twice, which is pathetic considering the advantage Guile has in that fight.

Okay first of all Irrepressible, good job lying through your teeth about not quitting. I remember very clearly you quitting on me and accusing me of using turbo the first time I ran into you on ranked. Hell, on the very first page of this topic when you made it all those months ago I said the same exact thing I’m saying now and you failed to address it at all. In your first rage mail video, you can see one of my messages linking you to my turbo hands video after you quit on me AGAIN in ranked. And the guys in that link Milo posted all agree you rage quit. Whether you do or not still I don’t know because I haven’t fought you in a while, but all the proof is right there. Wanna play dumb about it? Go right ahead. I don’t bash people for rage quitting unless they’ve done it to me themselves. Ever.
Second, yes, I remember those three fights now that I think about it. That being said, I certainly do remember beating you more than once. I couple times actually. There was a certain occasion where we were in a room with someone else (possibly someone from SRK, Zero maybe? Gah, not sure who it was), but I did a walk-up Typhoon, beating you, and all you said was “WTF how the fuck can you say that’s not turbo!?”. If that wasn’t what you said, it was something very close to those lines.
Look dude, just turn around and go back to the Xbox Forums with most of the other idiots. I never liked you from day one because of your whiny attitude and when Milo made you look even dumber (advertising your own YouTube account on an alt. lol), you got all mega defensive about it, and I found that pretty funny.
One more thing, I’ve gotten a far better grip on Hawk vs. Guile than the last time I fought you those couple months back, and a lot of Guiles on XBL (marsgatti included) will tell you the same. Have fun next time I run into you.
I just tested it out in training to see if I could do it.
It’s not pretty, but it wasn’t that tough.
I didn’t really walk up and 720, I more “walked up, wiggled around, then 720”.
I did the 720 as both Yoga Flame motions x3 or x2.5 (x2 was unreliable) or as a small circle from toward>down.toward>down>neutral x3 or 2.5 or 2.25.
The fastest I was able to do was with the small circle in the lower right corner of the stick from the left side of the opponent.
And even that one had a decent pause between the walking and the 720.
Usually the way I do it is if someone is in a corner and they block my dive, I’ll do hcbx2, then walk forward a step and press punch. If you do the hcb motion twice you can walk forward by like a pixel and grab. Its kinda like partioning it.

I dont see what all the hype is, you play a very basic t-hawk, very easy to beat. You excel at beating people who cant reverse tick throws or cannot pull off their AA’s on reaction. If somebody can reverse and is good at reactionary AA’s then you will crumble very quickly as was proved last time we played.

Don’t know for sure, but I bet those guys over at eventhubs are lying about Irrepressible quitting. Chances are they are just people he’s turtled to death, and I believe that. Then again I’ve heard of instances where top players (Opemai, Doable Polecat) have been rage-quitting, so we can’t discount it. However, I’m more inclined to believe Irrepressible over some Eventhubs people.
