just blow it off, I do all the time. People are stupid online, and casual rasism is just the booming thing right now. Hell look at 4chan. I black and they joke on black people and use slurs all day long, but I laugh at there ignorance…and even I admit some of the shit they come up with is funny as hell.
This stuff mostly happens with shooters, just goes to show the average mind set of the fan base. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as bad playing fighters, from Guilty Gear to DOA most people have been very pleasant.
The biggest difference would be with fighters… you’re more likely to see them in person. People are much less likely to say shit like that face to face at a tournament than some lobby online.

I think that’s common sense and I always use either “japanese” or “jpn” to refer to something like that.

People that are Racist on Online XBOX Live games either do it on purpose or just dont have no life. I’ve been called the “n-word” hundreds of times on Halo 2 & 3 and I dont even get mad anymore cause I know there either do it to try to piss you off or they want to get banned.

one time this guy on my team got enemy flag in h3, and i was covering him, the whole game he was sayin ****** this ****** that, so before he gets game winning capture, i stick him, take flag and score ftw. its petty, but poetic justice at the same time.

the player base is saturated with immature teenagers and ignorant red necks who have nothing else to do than to talk shit (usually even when they are the worst player on your team).
i’m not even black and i got called then N word every 5 minutes. i have to be like “um are you talking to me? because actually the word you’re looking for is ch*nk.”
the dumbest example of this kind of attitude was this one time in halo 2. my team was playing great together and destroying the other team in team hardcore. then when we are like 5 kills away or something, one of my teammates said “oh good job mate!” with a british accent. in response to this, one of my other teammates starts yelling “oh fuck that, you’re a foreigner, i can’t let you win a game, fuck this” and proceeds to repeatedly suicide himself to drop our score and let the other team win. what the fuck is wrong with people?
it wasn’t even racism which every halo player in used to these days, this kid was trying to take it to the next level of stupidity.
oh which reminds me, you ever play halo with a girl in the game who is good and actually beating people? god the shit people talk is vulgar as hell. no wonder hardly any girls play those games.

Since my tag is after a mongol general people who think I’m azn end up calling me ching-chong and the like - it’s kinda amusing to see people out themselves as bigots. That being said some of these people don’t think of themselves as racist and don’t “believe in” what they are saying. They just see it as a way of getting under the other person’s skin - to them it’s all about how mad it will make who they are talking to. Still retarded and says something about their charecter that they are willing to be “that guy” just to make someone mad…pathetic really - whoever made the joke about their GED’s hit the nail right on the head.
whenever I see a girl on GRAW I cringe - not because I expect her to suck or don’t wanna play with girls, but because I know that the chat channel will be filled by dumbasses hitting on her the entire time. That and the in-between game becomes a chat-fest and the game takes forever to launch. And the female hosts have been the most annoying, petty hosts I’ve ever met. But that is my personal observers bias - in the end I never say sh*t (when a girl is hosting) because she may not be like the last one that pissed me off and I try to give everyone new a chance…
