Does f+HP seem faster to you at all? Don’t remember it coming out so quickly but it was a while ago

They removed that shortly after the 2nd beta was over.

That’s not true. It was always +1 on hit.

I’ve never really been able to play the legit beta. Didn’t have a PS4 compatible stick.

You could definitely link a s.mp after the 2nd hit of the target combo before on counterhit, it doesn’t work anymore.

It’s a lot easier to land wingless airplane after landing f.hp. I remember timing needing to be precise to land the non ex-version midscreen in B2.

Oh my… Target combo is now punishable on block. Neutral st mp -1 on block. No more block strings.

s.MP was always -1 iirc.

And you can make Target Combo safe if you space it max distance.

Then the frame data was wrong before, i just tested it on both versions, do I really have to make a video? :stuck_out_tongue:

It might be wrong by a frame, but if the mps had the same frame data before you’d be able to link st.hp with or without ch after either.

Damn, dudes are jumping in here with more info. My report:

t.HP did get buffed. t.HP, cr.LP is a true blockstring now. In Beta 2, it was possible for Ryu to mash SRK in between HP and LP and other characters could do EX SRK to break it. This is a relatively good change but doesn’t do much for her overall gameplay.

st.HK (Uncharged) still CC’s but now it’s airborne and the opponent slows down in the air (like when you’d KO an opponent in SF2) so you can’t land Passion Press or call Nadeshiko. But, you can still reset them with either t.MP/t.MK, or land a Sweep, or do MP or EX Peach. LP and HP Peach will not work. You can also do her AA grab. I don’t mind this change.

j.LK has a weird hitbox now. Very difficult to time a crossup. Feels like they only want you to do it once you have them in the corner.

Didn’t notice much of a difference with t.MK. They maybe nerfed the range a little bit but it’s not very significant. I did notice that it was harder to do Passion Press, t.MK reset but it’s still possible, t.MK has to be done earlier (or you could just mash t.MK).

Seems like s.LK>MP Target Combo also got a buff.

The MP has more range and is less prone to whiffing on hit… It’s actually really consistent. It can whiff but nowhere near as easily as the previous beta build. I like this because it means you can use it at a safer range (since it’s punishable now…)

They were only the same during counter hit, I’ll edit my original post.

Target combo went from -2 to being able to be punished by mediums. -5 at least. There’s no range where stuff like ryu st lk xx hurricane won’t punish it. Almost every char will have something that will reach. St mp has always been -1 though you are correct. ( could have sworn it was plus, weird)

It’s not difficult at all. Just landed a bunch of crossups in succession now.

Immediate j.LK after EX Brimstone still crosses up.

Immediate j.LK after HP Peach still crosses up if opponent quick rises.

Not convinced there was much of a change here.

I dunno, j.LK feels nerfed to me.
