Kotaku’s article on Mika’s reveal has the writer hating on her costume.

…That article writer talks about Mika’s outfit in literally all of two words. “Ridiculous” and “impractical”. And if those two words count as hate… Oh boy.

And SJWs are “too sensitive.”

I don’t see why he had to call attention to the outfit at all when the article is reporting on a press release.

According to the trailor and text written about the character, it is safe to assume that her punishment on block is going to be lethal with relatively high damage output. I wonder if it might be possible to combo into some of her command grabs like you would in KOF.
… I doubt it but her command grab set ups would still lead to advantagous situations obviously. In the trailor, the player can also see R. Mika finishing a juggle combo with a air throw where she flips the opponent to the ground to smash them. A seemingly good combo finisher. V-Trigger seem pretty nice as well, where she essentially conducts a Marvel assist of a sort, summoning Nadeshiko attack opponents from a distance. Might be a method of directly/indirectly addressing characters with better long range options… as well as utilizing Nadeshiko potentially for combo extensions.

I still want Juri to be in, but I guess the hype just got me. I didn’t expect that Mika will make it, even with the siliconera “leak”. Maybe that’s why I’m so happy atm.

My most requested characters for this game are Juri, Poison, Rose and R.Mika.

So even if nobody else from my list will make it, I have at least one main character now and a secondary (Chun). And that’s good enough for me, because with a starting roster of 16, I can’t expect to get everyone I want right at the start.

With Rainbow Mika being confirmed the siliconera leak could be true. But Juri would still fit in the starting roster imo because:

• evil woman (all other women in the game right now are cheerful and good)
• zoning type character (we have a lot of rushdown right now)
• story related to Bison and she is the head of S.I.N now

But I think for Rose and Poison the chances are very slim sadly.
