R. Mika is by far the best character to bring back, they did it! They have triumphed.
Simple set up is after dashing after hitting flying peach, you can instantly grab or f+hp. If you have V Trigger a crush counter f+hp leads ton about 50% damage.
Yeah, you can do it on their wakeup for sure. Not so much after an EX Peach because it has more recovery. I never really tried to combo off of t.HP into Nadeshiko. Usually Iād do t.HP, t.HP, EX Peach.
Itās easy on crush counter.
F+hp (cc), dash, f+hp xx forward v trigger, juggle charged s.hk, juggle ex wingless.
Yeah, I was just testing that. You could also do neutral V-Trigger after the 2nd t.HP. Looks cool but the damage is maybe 10% more and you have to end it with EX AA Grab which takes them out of the corner.
So how was st.HK (uncharged) nerfed? If it has more recovery or startup that would really suck. If it loses itās Crush Counter ability that would suck but at least it would remain as a good poke.

C.hp nerf was fine with me. Boring to do and boring to look at.
I think those nerfs arenāt that bad. Cross under cr.HP was something but we can still do Passion Press, charged HK, and cr.MP which does more damage and also resets them.
I donāt mind the EX Peach nerf either. It was the kind of move that was going to be a yolo move in Beta 2.
What I do hate is the st.HK (uncharged) nerf if it was in fact nerfed. No one is providing much info on that.
Weird issue I noticed in the Infinite Beta. I noticed it before but didnāt really investigate it. Not sure if this may just be my controller or not, I donāt think it is but that is a possibility. After doing either EX Command Grab (Typhoon or Brimstone) it is not possible to call Nadeshiko right away. There is a pause for a good 2-3 seconds before you can call her.
I hope this is just a weird bug or something but I can do V-Trigger without an issue and I even used a HP+HK Macro to completely eliminate the possibility of input error and I still could not V-Trigger after doing an EX Grab. And Iām not talking about instantly doing it the moment you get up and the animation finishes. No. The game forces you to wait a good 2-3 seconds before letting you V-Trigger.
Itās a glitch or they did it on purpose to avoid some really gay set up shrugs
Isnāt Nadeshiko used in the EX command grabs? Itās probably intentional in order to prevent two of her from appearing onscreen at once.
The 3 second cool down is too much tho.
It is changed in the PSX Build. Uncharged HK is still a CC but now it puts your opponent in an airborne state. Charged HK is still the same type of CC.
Good to know. Thanks dude! Sucks that you canāt do Passion Press but you had to be pretty close to land that one. If it leaves them airborne I would assume that you could still combo into EX Peach or call Nadeshiko.
Also; certain juggle combos ending with EX Peach will not full hit certain characters. The last hit on EX Peach will whiff against: Nash and Cammy. Possibly more. Excluding a juggle combo in the corner than EX Peach will hit fully.
PS: in Beta 2, if you do MP Peach right next to Cammy you pass right through her and it whiffs.

- j.LK is fine. Can combo into s.MP no problem from any height. Crossup hitbox feels the same as beta 2
- Charged s.HK, s.LK>MP xx MP Peach (new dropkick BnB)
- Regular s.HK CC floats as mentioned above⦠combos into HK/EX Airplane (you can also connect a normal to air reset them)

Nerfs
- Overall damage reduction on a lot of moves, too lazy to compare everything. Both v-trigger activations now do 100 (used to be 120 for neutral and 150 for directional) Super still does 350.
- Opponents are no longer airborne while crouch blocking on wakeup, no more meaty wingless airplane.
- V-skill gives way less damage and a lot slower, you still get a damage buff for tapping v-skill, but the second buff comes out 3 seconds later now, not really practical.
- Can no longer do s.jab into target combo.
- The MP in her target combo no longer has the same frame advantage on hit as her normal MP during counterhit, before you could delay the 2nd hit on the target combo to get a counter hit and link s.hp, now you can only link a jab.
- f.MK has way less range.
- c.MK has a bigger hurtbox, can no longer low profile random stuff.
- c.jab and s.jab have less frame advantage, you donāt get a free tick throw anymore.
- Ex shooting Peach no longer has armor on the 1st frame.
Buffs
f.HP seems to have more frame advantage on block. f.HP, c.jab/s.jab is a true blockstring, canāt DP in between.
