If Mika gets hit by the nerf bat, I’'ll probably drop SFV. My interest in this game has been waning and there are few enough interesting characters as it is. So far none of the new characters have clicked with me. Maybe that will change with Juri and Urien but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Same here. Probably. I’ve found the S1 characters to be quit lacking. Maybe Juri and/or Urien will change that but I’m not counting on it. I’ve played enough mid-tier characters that got nerfed into oblivion for no reason (unless you count scrubs bitching about them a lot as a reason) that I don’t feel like putting up with that sort of thing any more.

Ryu can easily convert a s.MP, which into a crapload of damage too and nobody seems to care. By the way, his s.MP is +6 on hit and +1 on block, and it’s easy to end a combo with a tatsunaki for instant corner carry. So I still don’t know why so much bitching about Passion Press.

I’m confused about this sort of thing too. This is one of those areas where I don’t get some people’s complaints about Mika. Every medium or heavy move she has, if blocked, ends her turn. If you’re letting her continue pressure in that situation that’s on you.

Just hit a highly fraudulent Chun-Li player with the cr.HK low profiling EX SBK tech. V-Trigger cancelled for the OTG kill. Obviously ragequit ensues. -_-

Don’t forget that both Shoto’s have + on their c.MP as well. Doods love throwing that out then do random sweep or another c.MP or c.MK into Mario Fireball.

You can pop your V-Trigger if she blocks, and follow up with Brimstone.

Well obviously you only do it when the cr.HK is going to crush counter and allow the VTC to OTG for the kill. Duh.

I don’t think cr.HP will get nerfed any time soon. I can think of quite a few buttons from other characters which are way more overpowered than Mika’s cr.HP.
